I was in Black Hawk today, just wanted to let everyone know the WPT Regional schedule is out. I cannot find it anywhere on the interwebz, but I have a paper copy. If I have time later today I will type it out.

Anybody would like to start 10-20 LHE at Lodge on Fridays. i love limit holdem but hate 4/8 impossible beat rake and 30/60 is to volatile ( play it once a month or less but I definatelly not comfortable with swings.) . I could get at least 3 players who would liuke to try LHE. I am pretty sure Lodge would throw in one of the props(pretty bad) into the game and I know that some 1/2 regulars would be happy to play 10/20. We should try to show up and start the game one Friday and see there it goes from there. We could even get reduced rake or ask for special comps( last time I played 10/20 at Lodge they gave us 5$ per hour).
I would suggest to start the game on 08/31 Fridays and with all the people for long weekend we could start a momentum.

I will play 8/31 if I'm in town (there's a decent chance I'll be in CA) and I would play 9/7 for sure.

Hey, I heard a rumor that Ameristar was bought out by Caesars Entertainment. Has anyone else heard this? And if it is true, do you think there is any chance of getting a WSOP circuit event here?

Thats interesting but I dont see them doing tournaments anytime soon. They have to much cash action and no room to add tournament area.

I have heard that CO gaming will not allow a casino to run a tournament in an unauthorized gaming area(i.e. convention center, ballroom, etc.). Not sure on the wording of it, this is all paraphrased from here-say and memory.

So, this is a proof that we will not have any tournaments in Ameristar and why we need them we have plenty at GG and WPT at Isle

I would say this is extremely unlikely to be true, especially seeing as they are currently partnered with MGM Resorts International.

I'd love to play a 10-20 LHE game on weekends. I've been trying to get a small middle limit game going at the Lodge for months and no one ever wants to play 8-16 to 15-30. They won't spread a dealer's choice game either. Ugh.

Anyways, I'm at the Lodge every single Fri, Sat and Sun without fail so I'll be there if you can get a game going.

I remember when the Venetian room opened and they had a promotion for the first 6 months with a $1 max rake on the 8-16 LHE. Awesome!

Hey man, there is max of 150 entries PER DAY. This allows a max of 450 entries over the 3 flights. The buy in last time was $1,650 and this time they raised it to $2,000, supposedly to increase the size of the prize pool, which was sorely lacking last time.

What don't you like about the schedule? I think having the mega qualifiers during the week Monday through Friday is the only mistake as there would be many more people available during the weekends to play these.

By the way, I think the WPT generally sucks compared to the WSOP. Too much corporate, administrative bureaucracy crap.

I am out of town for a week but I will be at Lodge on 8/31 4PMish and will bring 3-4 10-20 players(most of them never played live limit...), so if we could get couple more and maybe some promotions they should start it. Spread the word with locals and we will see where it goes. I would commit for all night and willing to play even shorthanded

If we can get 7-8+ players I'm down. I think I can get a couple regulars that play 2-100 SL to play. They should have a max $3+2 rake and qualifying for the BB jackpot.

Lets do 10/20 at Lodge 8/31 Friday 4PM(or when whoever gonna make it) and we will see where it goes from there. I know thats not enough with you guys but I will invest(loose) 600$ for that game. I think that 200$ will be average buy in and 100$ minimum.
