I was not aware I had signed up to be excluded for life, and they said any self exclusion is a lifetime ban per company policy. I had to sign a form acknowledging I had been warned and another visit would be criminal trespass.

So in 2017 Eldorado Resorts acquired Isle of Capri, which I assume means I am now also excluded from all properties in the Isle chain, as well as all properties under Eldorado Resorts. Now Caesers acquired Eldorado Resorts, which will be completed in Q1 2020. Does this now mean I am excluded from all properties under aforementioned, AND ALL Caesers properties, which included the WSOP? This is devastating and seemingly unfair as I did not sign up to be excluded from all these properties for life.

Does anyone know a contact to discuss the law as it pertains to self exclusions and how they carry over under mergers and acquisitions, and if they can be reversed?
I'm surprised they still paid you the BBJ.

I think the merger means your ban is wiped clean. Regardless, you don't know anything about being banned from Caesars unless they send you a certified letter telling you you're banned from Caesars properties. They are not going to arrest you.

These CPAs probably have referrals/recommendations for gambling attorneys: http://kondlercpa.com/services/poker-tax-consultation

What's the typical buy in at the 30/60 at Ameristar? Would 1200 suffice for a "I don't care so much if I lose it, but would like to have more than 15 minutes of fun" perspective? I'm going to try and start a wait list tomorrow morning for 15/30. No idea of anything other than 30/60 or 50/100 runs...

Typical buyin at 30 is 1-2k...1200 will allow you to lose the 1st 3-4 big hands you play, it will likely last a while but no guarantees Colorado Poker (Black Hawk, Central City, Cripple Creek)

30/60 or 50/100 if they think that big whale is present - nothing else will ever run. People tried for the last 10 years.
30/60 is not a shot taking game it is long grinding game( with small edges and high variance) as any other limit game.

Any updates on Monarch poker room?

I talked to a Monarch employee who was playing at the Gates a couple weeks ago and he said he had no updates from his management. He said they really don't share any news with their staff their, except maybe at the manager level and above.

8-16 fixed limit mixed game at Gates this coming Friday, Feb 14th. Game rotates each orbit. Start time approx 6pm. Let's try to get at least 5 or 6 to show up, then we'll recruit another 4 or 5 from around the room. I'll get an interest list up by 6pm, please call in before you get there to help build the list in advance. Thanks all!

Omaha
Omaha 8
Pineapple
Crazy Pineapple
Holdem

I looked at the rulebook at Ameristar. It allows for pretty much all variants that dont involve a 2-7 or badugi aspect.

What games are you interested in? We will spread any legal game. If something is deemed unacceptable by the State, I'll let you know.

Psyched to get a mixed game going here.

All of these are fine. The only restriction is on the number of players if stud and/or Big-O are included.

May I suggest just flop games to start this on Friday and see if it goes well? If it gets momentum we can entertain other ideas.

That is not Mix games... It will not bring any mix game players from home games.

Start with at least HORSE and then add 2-7, badugi, etc. and other games

A mixed game is any poker game that rotates though 2 or more variants. The Gates used to run this mixed game for awhile as many of you know. I agree I'd love to play HORSE but i think Dumaa is right about starting this off with just flop games and seeing how much interest we get. It may not be what we all want to play but at least its something different from the standard games in Blackhawk. If things launch, then hopefully in the future we can add in all stud variants and other games, if approved.

Can I get a roll call on who is a definite, a maybe, or a no so I can estimate how many players we can expect for Friday evening.
I may be able to entice 3 to 4 players from the room already playing holdem to join. Thanks all

It was a pretty spectacular game. 8 game mix. We decided to do 2-5 blinds $100 max. 8 handed for about 3 hours.

Oh wait, we only got 5 on the list, one of which was a dealer. Never launched. Maybe next century. stay tuned for further development.
