Midnight rose is literally a ghost town. Don't go play poker over there, you'll regret it.

BBJ at A* is attracting more and more business this week. Should hit $400k this weekend.

I just checked Bravo and don't see this. Did they not let it run or something? I'd be interested with more notice.

It was on the board before I went to play the 10am tournament at the Gates. I checked back around noon and it was still just me.

Supposedly a 10/20 LHE runs at the Golden Gates on Saturdays around 2 or 3pm. I unfortunately didn't last long enough to make it there

Next time I'll post earlier than the morning of and maybe we can get a few people to help get it started

Does anyone know if the AAAQQ BBJ has hit at the A* yet. Heading up tomorrow and just want to know what type of crowd to expect.

Thanks ahead of time!

Looks like the wait lists at A* are insane now. If anyone has been up recently, how fast do the 70-80+ person wait lists roll through? ~2 hrs?

Last saturday they had 180 people on list for 1/2 game. Bad beat jackpot crase is for real!

Bravo currently has the 1/2 list at 125 (6 tables) and 2/5 at 57 (5 tables). Primary jackpot at $575K and secondary at $382K. It notes that it's currently the largest BBJ in the country.

I'm wonder if I should call in and put my name down at noon tomorrow if I want to play around 6.

Wanting to head up to play some Friday but those wait times are going to be brutal. Totally spaced on how big the secondary jackpot has gotten. Going to be nuts there for a while even after the primary hits.

Wonder if we're heading back to the 7-800k BBJs of late 2011?

They'll only keep your name on the list for an hour after you call in.

Oh yeah, I forgot you have to check in within an hour. There goes my plan I guess.

Visiting Denver this weekend. Looking on Bravo on, it appears there are no tickets for 15+ names for 30 and 50 games - is the room capacity 17 tables? Is that why they don't open not games?

Also, going through all the pages now (apologies if covered), but what's the best way to get Denver to Ameristar? If I took an Uber there, would I have trouble finding an Uber back to Denver in the 3am to 6am period (for Friday/Saturday)?

I'd go the rental car route if I were you. Depending on where you're at in Denver, it'll be about an hour-ish drive to depending on traffic.

Just did a rough Uber calculation and it looks like it'd be at least ~$50 each way from Denver to Black Hawk (assuming no weekend/surge pricing). Perhaps some others can speak to personal experience, but I'd imagine it'd be tough to get an Uber in Black Hawk in that 3-6am time frame.

If anyone was wondering, as of 10:45pm Fri night, the top name on the 1/2 list had been waiting over 4 hours before just getting called. Top name on 2/5 has been waiting for almost 3.

Is anyone up there now that can get my name added to the list? PM if so. Thanks!

There is a big coach bus service that goes back & forth every 30 min. I think it’s $25 round trip.

10/20 Limit 1/2 Kill has been running at Ameristar for the last 3 days! Hopefully, that game will be daily. Bad beat still running strong - 670K

PSA:
US 6 at the canyon is closed due to an accident. I had to turn around after exiting I-70 and took the Central City Parkway instead...

Just happened to take a glance at Bravo...looks like the A* bad beat has been hit, $711k. Maybe the lists will get back to normal (and I can think about going up to play). Though the Gates is going to run $1k high hands on Fri & Sat.

It'll surely drop some for the time being but with the secondary (now primary) already pushing 475k, probably won't drop back to "normal" until that one hits.
