The number I give you won't matter for January because everything will be busy with the WSOP circuit.

In a normal month weekends there will be 6-9 1/2 tables and 2 2/5 tables. During the week 4 1/2 tables and one 2/5 on Tue and Thu.

if I want to play some 1/2 (or I guess 2/5) PLO am I better off going to Choctaw or Winstar? Would be on the weekends.

There is never PLO at Choctaw unless there is a huge tournament running (think WSOP).

Yesterday a charter bus headed to Choctaw crashed. 2 people dead, 41 injured. I must say, when I heard a private bus crashed here I immediately assumed it was a casino bus (since they are all over the place).

What are the typical limit holdem games that are spread - i.e. do they have 4/8, and 8/16, or 3/6 and 6/12, etc.?

It's crazy to me that there isn't more PLO action at Choctaw. Riverspirit in Tulsa has a PLO game nearly every day. On Thursday's I have even seen 2 5-10 PLO tables going and as many as 3 PLO tables running simultaneously. Winstar must really cut into Choctaw's player pool, as far as cash games are concerned.

I know Choctaw still has on their website the High Limit Rewards Promo $99 for 4 hours of 2-5 NL cash game 12am-11:59am.

Is the 2-5 NL running most of that time? If I am at Choctaw Late Wednesday -Thursday morning for the promo will I probably get in a 2-5 NL game?

Click on May Poker Calendar and its on the PDF near the bottom.

I am probably going this weekend so I will ask but I wonder if the 2-5 NL runs enough during the week to get the promo. Has to be after midnight and before noon on a weekday other than Friday.

Anyone playing the card player tour?

Will Thursday bring in good 1/2 action or is it better to wait till Friday and Saturday?

They will be running 5/10 on weekend for sure and some PLO (albeit, I don't know which games exactly).

I'm staying with some friends near Choctaw but they are leavin and I would like to stay, and go to winstar for their series coming up, heard cash is gonna be good. If anyone legit wants to split a room/cut expenses get at me immediately! I might leave back for home if I don't find a somewhat reasonably cheap alternative. My names Brandon. # 3842396 hit me up

They aren't on bravo because they say it costs them too much to be hooked up. Been trying since bravo first became available.

I would love it if someone could help me regain some of the respect I lost for the floor at this Casino on Friday by explaining the reasoning behind a really strange ruling.

We were playing 1-2 NLHE. If I remember correctly the board ran out Q66QA with no flush. It was heads up by the river and one player put in a sizable bet. His opponent tanked and spent a minute or two talking himself through the hand. He eventually called. The bettor showed down queens full and the caller mucked face down.

For some reason, one of the players not in the hand asked to see the mucked losing hand. The dealer complied with the request over the objections of both myself and the losing player. The floor was called and they sided with the dealer, saying that players could ask to see both hands if "the hand played out through the river" so long as the rule wasn't "abused."

I'm aware of the IWTSTH rule, but up to this point thought it only applied to the called hand. I can't think of a reason why you'd want to see a mucked losing hand unless it was to a) try to get information about how an opponent plays or b) to embarrass the losing player. Neither of those reasons seems fair and I don't see what problem this situation might somehow cause that this rule is in place to prevent or solve.

Please, what am I missing?

It is a pretty standard rule, most people don't ask to see mucked hands because it is bad etiquette. The rule is in place to prevent collusion, i.e. 'best handing' etc. Here is a link to a thread where the issue is discussed a little and one of the posts quote the actual rule:

Thanks for that. It seems to me the rule as written is an invitation to douchebaggery. But I'm glad to hear the floor was correct and I was a fool. That's easier to fix than the other way around.
