I still got time to change hotel. of all Toronto, besides spending way too much on hotel room, what part of town would you recommend to stay in? Downtown probably too pricey. I like eating and drinking good.

Check out the Queen West area. Some decent boutique hotels and lots of cool stuff to do.

That's if you are at the airport he said he was staying around the airport, but point taken on the speed of the UP Express. I never thought of that as I have never taken it. I also forgot about the TTC bus that only costs a token and takes you to Toronto.

Just post it, more people hassling him the better.

Everyone - make sure to illustrate they will not have a viable long term room if the rake is similar to their other properties. Smaller stakes cannot take a $15+$1 rake.

Live. Only thing TBD is how much they're going to try and squeeze on the rake. That'll be the determining factor as to whether this matters or not.

Since it appears that this poker room never did end up reopening, I am closing this thread. I have created a Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto Hype thread for those who wish to discuss the upcoming opening of the new casino and poker room. When that room becomes operational the thread will become a normal venue thread.
