Then you're clearly not the casino's desired clientele.

I still laugh when this happens: Seat opens up at midnight. Seat is not filled for 30-40 minutes. There is a long list so we ask the floor about it. Floor says they are texting people who have been on the list for hours. They are now home asleep lol. There is no paging system in place.
Complete nonsense.

I've never seen a seat take that long to fill. Yes, they will attempt to text the list but they will fill it when nobody answers. 30-40 minutes is just more of your hyperbole against that place.

Do you ever have anything good to say, or do you just like to entertain yourself with this crap??

Not everyone has an unlimited texting plan, nor want their number in a casino's database.

Why can't they use a PA system to page players like everyone else? It's a proven system.

I'm planning on visiting M8trix casino in a few weeks and I have a few questions.

Do they spread any Pot limit Omaha?

Is the 10-25 still going 3 times per week?

Thanks

SJ Police Chief Moore, as expected, denied M8trix's request to open gambling on the 8th floor of their casino.

Correct. They don't want the operation of the poker games disturbing the PaiGow and Blackjack players.

M8trix sues SJ, again

I don't think the owners get it. Or maybe they figure if they have a high priced lawyer on salary, they may as well put him to work.

There are rules.
You have to follow the rules.
Just because you have lots of money and lawyers, the authorities are not going to bow down and let you do what you want, if it is against the rules.

Right, because we know that every rule in our society is iron clad.

Your reasoning is so incredibly rigid, its hard to take you seriously.

It's known as doing business in a regulated industry.

Bay101 gets it. Lucky Chances gets it. Wynn gets it.

Filing a lawsuit because the police department followed the rules will get them nowhere. The first one got thrown out. So will this one.

Although I agree with your general sentiment, Angus, let me point out that winning a lawsuit is not the only reason they might have filed one.

- They may be trying to harrass the city into settling or to try to convince them to bend the rules in the future to avoid harrassment.

- They may be under pressure from investors and are filing a lawsuit to appear diligent in trying to recover lost money.

But yeah, rules are a lot less flexible when it comes to sex, drugs, and gambling.

Actually, it is just one of the owners, Swallow. Not sure if he "bought" it or is going to run the casino for HP.

Been playing Garden City off and on since late '70s (20 tables, self dealt Lowball and Pan).

Talk to a lot of people.

Also, 2nd degree black belt in Internet snooping. I hadn't heard about Swallow and Hollywood Park, but just Googling "Swallow Hollywood Park Casino" will get you started.

Bay 101 is following their lead, favoring Cal game tables over poker. Tonight, which is the busiest poker night of the week, they had 2 covered (taken out of use) poker tables in the back room and one covered one in the low limit area. Plus, they were working on breaking one of the three 1/2/2 tables (65 on the list) so they could open yet another table on the Cal games side.

I don't remember ever seeing 4 tables take out of use in order to give more tables to the Cal side with the huge lists they had tonight.
