Does this mean that there is no 5-10 in the South Bay? Or has Bay 101 restarted its 5-10 game?

Or is just 2-3-5 500 cap, 2-3-5 deepstack at both Matrix and Bay, and 10-25 at Matrix?

I think there is no 5-10 game in the south bay. Jumps straight from 2-3-5 deep to 10-25. Kinda sucks for the people (eg. me) who aren't rolled for the 10-25, and way overolled for 2-3-5 deep.

Afaik 5-5-10 only ran regularly on friday and sporadically late on other midweek days.
That's not why.

Word around the room is that the guy who "hosts" the 10/25 game was complaining that the 5/5/10 took players from that game. He whined to Hayden so they stopped the 5/5/10 and added the deep stack.

Another awful decision in a series of bad decisions. I liked playing 5/5/10, as it was a great game. It plays bigger than 2/3/5 yet isn't anywhere close to 10/25. Its a logical middle ground between the 2 games.

10/25 has a distinct player pool. Its much too big of a game for most players, and the 5/5/10 is a good game for those that want a step up from 2/3/5. Making that a deep stack does nothing.

How in the hell is this a good thing?? This game doesn't play that much bigger at all. I've seen extreme nittiness in the game, with no action. Watched from the rail for a bit, and wasn't inclined to play it in the least. Yeah, its really awesome.

2/3/5 Deepstack is essentially the same people that play 5/5/10 but with more fish....and it's deepstacked so fishes make bigger mistakes...whats the big deal?

what do you bay 101 guys find so attractive about the matrix vs. bay? I heard the poker games ar much better at bay now. Bay is more focused on poker and matrix is more focused on the cal side games.

Matrix is sick. Not enough tables imo, since the Measure E h8ters got their way via the ballot. But the action is unmatched by any in the bay area, perhaps anywhere west of the Mississippi for that matter.

This range is 100-500. All the minimum buy ins are ******edly low. You get a lot of short-stackers sitting down.

Great action and the wait isn't bad at all. The only time the wait is bad is weekends.

Bay is the room if you want to play poker. Matrix is the room if you want to look at tits.

thats why you got to go to both rooms to balance your range of poker/tits.

That's beyond funny... You're actually on to something here. It makes such statistical-logical sense in many ways. If you stay put in one card room, you'll no doubt fall victim to the particular effect one or another place has on your game approach. You'll be bored in the bingo room or titillated and tilted in the other... But the point is that only YOU can prevent forest fires.

The regular 2-3-5 is 100-500
Deep stack 2-3-5 300-1500
5-T is 500-1500
10-25 is 1000-no limit

I still laugh when this happens: Seat opens up at midnight. Seat is not filled for 30-40 minutes. There is a long list so we ask the floor about it. Floor says they are texting people who have been on the list for hours. They are now home asleep lol. There is no paging system in place.
