i wouldn't mind if he's a lag fish and takes his 120k and dumps it at the 5/5 or 5/10 but he's a uber nit that prolly put his winnings in a trust fund for his kids.

I went tonight. Was packed... Only 1 table not being used and huge line ups. They had a 60 person tourney though which clogged some tables and dealers. They refused to open another 5/5 table with 20+ on the list...

They should have kept both sides of poker instead of closing one side. There really is a lot of action there... and seriously? running out of dealers should never be an excuse... How can you have a waiting list of 70-80 people (all stakes combined). it just doesn't make sense to me.

Try the indian card rooms like Snake's and 4 Aces. They are usually enthusiastic to start one, but the players mostly don't know WTF PLO is.

If you can get one started tough, it's pure juice.

How many 5/10 nl games are spread in Casino de Montreal.. I am thinking of coming up there for a week or so.. also what are the buyins (min and max).. also what about 5/5 nl.. Can you tell me the same info for 4 aces and the other one? Let me know please!

yah i usually play at fallsview..
1 5/10 during the week 1k max. Kinda lame considering everywhere else in the states for the most part has 2k 5/10 games..

Might come down and check out the games for a while in Montreal..

Are the 5/5 / 5/10 games nitty? or are there action packed games?

They cant hire part time dealers? or can't figure out a way to make more money? Where do people have to wait over 1 hour to play when there is a list? I understand if no one is on the list they can't open a table, but such a large list in a big casino. NO ONE should wait more then 5-10 min.

Like you wait 1 hour and don't even know when they are calling you unless you are on the same floor, cmon. at least they have call ins now. 1 hour and you're removed. Takes me longer than 1 hour to get there... If I call at 4 and say I'll be there at 6 they won't allow it.

no she's not good, she's a nit fish, her and her husband own a business and they play for fun, she talks non-stop and her husband is the quietest guy in the world, he prolly does all the yelling at home.

yea ive been grinding out the games at casino full time for some months now and that chick is always there. As ziggy said, she is a nit fish, but imo, one of the better players there actually. The 5/5 is generally fishy, and might sometimes be filled with 3-4 regs, but all the regs have their leaks and i dont mind playing with anyone there.
