One guy ITT says they keep the best of the seasonal hires fulltime. This is exactly the sort of info that I seek, that you suggest that nobody could give me.
You're not gonna believe this, but after 7 years in Vegas, followed by 10 years in Mississippi, I'm actually sick of HOT climates. Spent the last two winters in New England, and actually enjoyed them. This, coming from the guy who joined the army at a young age, mostly to escaped the hated winters. Grass greener etc. People look at me like I'm nuts when I tell them I'm excited about the prospects of living in Minneapolis or Seattle, and hope to God I don't have to move to LA or Vegas.
I was like 50/50 on whether to respond, but will go out on limb. FWIW, asking what they've done in the past and what they plan to do this year are two separate things. Thanks for the clarifying though. A couple thoughts:
- PM BBQ'd. He is a former shift mgr there and afaik left on good terms. He should be able to answer your questions and may be able to make some connections for you there.
- Cold call them and just ask?
- I'll be there tomorrow and will ask a few folks I know.
