Tonight is the last night. (There's a short day tomorrow.) I went Friday to get back into the 20-40 half-kill Omaha and the action was quiet at first (mostly conservative players + one TAG and one station), but it got crazy around 11 p.m.
A couple of more aggressive action players had already joined us when a real cannon arrived. The CNE now permits live straddles (they haven't in the past), and his favourite move was straddling when the kill was on and raising again when it got back to him. That tended to mean that you could be on the button with a premium hand and have to pay as much as $150 to see a flop! The variance was insane.
