Hey all, wondering how many of you play the 1/1/2 and 2/3/5 NL games here? How is the play?

Anyone ever interested in meeting up and discussing players and strategy?

Few times but I was hoping to get an opinion from someone who was more of a regular. So far what I've seen I'm not too impressed.

The two structures are 2/3/5 and 2/2/3. There is a $4 drop even if there is no flop. The game can be very good on the weekends and evenings, but is a nitville full of regs during the day.

Source: 25-30 hours of play a week.

That would make sense. I've only played on a Friday or Saturday night and the action seems pretty good. Anyone in particular I should look out for?

Have a few hours to kill after dropping my car off to be serviced nearby. Worth going on a sat morning?

Can anyone with experience compare the small-stakes NL games here to those at Lucky Chances, Oaks, or the Bay 101?

I used to play SSNL there a decent amount right after black friday, but haven't been in about 6 months. At the time, they played 8-16 on 2 tables most weeknights.

Resurrecting an old thread. Been playing here for about a year now (moved up here recently from Southern California). The NL is 2-2-3 ($100-300 buy in) generally 1 table, occasionally 2; or 2-3-5 ($300-500) generally 2. Limit big game is 15-30 (1 table)

This place needs to expand. Nights and weekends you'll sometimes have hours to wait. Friday at 2 pm expect to wait an hour.

On the flip side you go in sometimes and they'll have a long as list and open tables and don't open one up.

I really hate this but am kinda stuck as I can only generally get the wife to let me play when the kids are napping or we get a sitter and we both go play.

Going to Oaks would be my choice if I was just slightly closer.

This place is regulars, 2-3-5 is generally 5-6 regs at a time. Real annoying too as they'll check it down with each other, etc. 2-2-3 is more open and a pretty easy game.

I miss my mega rooms in LA where you can play pretty much whatever/whenever, with no wait.
