Borgata is actually the best with their free drinks. Obviously you can sit at any slot machine and flag down a waitress to get a drink. Unlike all the other casinos, the Borgata gives bottles for free. Nothing like sitting down at a penny slot and getting bottles of Heineken for $1 (not tipping waitress is beneath contempt).
As good as this walk around waitress service is, you get better drinks and a wider selection at the bar. As far as the racebook is concerned, the 2 free tickets for any bet are great. They can be redeemed at the racebook bar, and are stamped with the date on the back, but in my experience they have never, never checked the date on the back to see if your ticket is expired. The only drawback is that the Guinness, which I prefer, is always seemingly stale at the racebook bar. Fortunately, you can play video poker at the B-bar, where they have Guinness on tap, and its always fresh. On one side they have .25 cent slots, the other side $1. If you choose 'jacks or better' and play basic strategy, you are very close to break even. Playing .25 cents a hand and getting $1 pints of Guinness (again, tip the bartender!) is a deal that cannot be beat. As an aside, the regular bartender at the B-bar for decades is very good and quick to get you beers - just give him a tip (looks like a short version of Lance Armstrong).
Not only can you get 2 drink tickets for every bet you make at the racebook window, you can get free drinks while you play video poker at the B-bar.
