I was there Saturday night/early Sunday morning. I was in the 2 seat at the must move then the 2 seat again in the main game. No hat.

I was the the guy in 4 seat who came around 12:30-1 ish and we discussed the recent Poker After Dark PLO episodes. I basically complained about how bad(nitty) the game was the entire time because the games had been very good for the past few months. This was the worst PLO game Ive seen at Borg for a quite a long time in terms of profit potential. I wasn't gonna make much but at least I wasn't gonna lose much.

You were the guy who beat AA with your KKJ6ds and won a pretty big pot with AKxx? It was good playing with you.

Edit: The game got good when the guy from the 2/5 table game to play, and that is what the games had been normally.

Big shout to Stan for being a great floor, game reports promptly and great customer service, well done sir.

hii every one, any challenging golf courses in atlantic city that r open to public, that r like must play courses, does borgata have any links with any of surrounding golf courses, planning for a golf n poker trip, i play only at borgata, any help is highly appreciated, thanks guys

If you travel a little away from AC you can find some great ones! AC country club is pricey but very nice. Personally I would visit the Renault winery golf course that is 30min away from AC, or twisted dunes, same distance. Twisted dunes is pretty hard and about 100 or so to play. Renault is a little easier but still a challenge and around 80to play or less. Plus if you like wine it's a winery! Galloway also nice but may be private. Avoid seaview- I just dont find it to be worth the money, and not particularly challenging.
It would maybe be ok if you can't get a little further from city, pines course is actually better then their championship bay course. The links on margate is also ok before the summer time, but just ok, horribly maintained in my opinion, and burned out by early summer.

Twisted Dune is my favorite. It' about 30 mins from Borgata in Egg Harbor Twsp. It's $79 weekdays and $89 weekends which isn't cheap OR expensive. That's what you're gonna pay for shore golf. $75-$100 for nice courses. It's a links course with no trees in play.

I also like Shore Gate. It's a more traditional "parkland" course. If I was playing just two, those would be the ones.

Galloway is insane...but it's also very private. Renault was a good suggestion as well

Stan, does the small BBJ max out at 50k?

It's been "stuck" at 50k on the BBJ webpage since the Big BBJ was 200k.

It is. They're trying to get the big JP amount to be larger on average, so the small is now 25% of the big to a maximum of 50K.

Hi guys, I'm a long time "stalker" of 2p2 and finally registered for an account here so that I can say how awesome the Borgata is. Hands down the best poker room in Atlantic City.

I'm a fairly regular tournament grinder and I'll be down this weekend. Is there expected to be a Spring Poker Open letdown like there usually is after these events? I have some friends coming in from out of state and are looking forward to playing a few tournies, namely the Saturday morning deep stack.
