Stan,

Just wanted to thank you for posting this a few weeks back right before the big snow storm and hooking me up with 2 comp. night.

Stan is the best.

Are Metro and Fatburger the only places open at that ungodly hour?
Metropolitan has a limited menu for take out, just go up to the bar to order and they'll give you the take out menu there. I think Noodles of the World (NOW) stays open pretty late as does Bread and Butter. You can get takeout from NOW too.

You know what that might be true...

I've actually never bought less than a full stack of green before at the Borg... At least for what I can recall...

The 20 game is always juicy, even with the normal regs.

first all in reds, then 200 in reds and 50 in green. then finally 200 in reds 1 black chip. Most of the time was me explaining how stupid the policy was.

Does a Harrah's Platinum Card qualify for Borgata's "Trade Up to Black Label" promotion? If so, does the promotion expire, or can you ask to trade up anytime?

Wondering about this too as I am Diamond at Harrahs but still Red at Borgata. Are they still doing this?

Ha. I had the same conversation I imagine. I was so mind boggled as to why it mattered.

Unless it changed somewhat recently, you have to have the Diamond at Harrahs to get the black card at Borgata. I believe they run the promo all the time, but it does not work with a Platinum, ony Diamond.

I believe this is correct. Does a Black label get you a Diamond?

I like keeping my bankroll as chips because I dont like going to the cage when I am ready to play, so whenever I leave, I always go to the cage and trade my red chips in for blacks, and it's never been a problem. Also once I traded 100 reds in for 4 green chips, also not a problem.

Not saying you can get 4 greens for a $100 bill, but I got 4 greens for 20 $5 chips.

For those joining the PLO event on the 24th and 25th, the blinds and rules are up.

For now, I'm set! My two vacation days have just been approved today and the comped room and two comped buffets have been booked. This fish is set to swim. lol!

To some, I'll see you late Sunday for some overnight 1-2 NLHE action.

Harrah's sometimes runs promotions where they will give you a diamond if you have a black card, but not always.

I googled this yesterday and found the same result. They are not currently having the promotion I believe. Not like it matters to me, I almost never even go to a Harrah's property other than to sleep and go to The Pool.

Now that the 20 game comp rate has gone up to $3 an hour, will it only take 333 in a year to become black label?
