I would be down to help start a 1-2 plo game over this coming Memorial Day weekend (Thursday Fri Sat only for me I believe), if there is no list or game running should we just sit at our normal games and tell the desk that we would be interested/willing to start the game if the interest arises etc. etc.

I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to get going since I'd imagine there will be lots of traffic. I probably won't play it all weekend but definitely will play some.

I'm all for a stricter interpretation of the commerce clause, but it ain't gonna happen. No idea about their other assertions.

They have more 10/20NL tables than most places have at 1/2NL. I don't think its unreasonable to expect better offers from places where 1/2NL is the highest limit.

min is $100, max is $500. most people buy in for $300.

Borgata is a higher quality establishment, all the way around, than the other AC properties. It is the only true Vegas-style casino in AC, and they have higher demand (and prices, unfortunately) that reflect that fact.

It really shouldn't be much of a surprise that they are more reluctant giving away rooms that can sell for double or triple other AC rooms on the open market.

the borgata has been great to my friend and I in terms of comps. I'm not sure what kind of comps people are expecting but comps in vegas are overrated.
You spend more hitting off staff members w/tips than any of your comps are worth. That pressure doesnt exist at borgata. The staff are always genuinly thankful when you tip them.

We are by no means ballers. He grinds 2/5 and i play some other games in the poker room when we visit AC and we've gotten great comps from borgata.

I'm planning to be down Saturday and probably Sunday, I'll play 2/5 or 1/2 PLO - whatever runs I'll be there

And yes I'll start the game very short.

I've probably logged a thousand hours at the Borgata in everything from 2/5NL to 10/25NL, and I still don't think I know who Stan is.

I feel like such a noob.

What do I realistically need to buy in (donate)? If i go up enough in NL, i'll play.

I personally think that anything less than 200BB in PLO is short stacked.

Shrug, I can guess who posts/reads here anyway within 30 minutes, and I'm pretty sure that everyone I play with will still think I suck (or not) regardless.

If playing 1/2 is it even worth having a Red Label card?

What's the downside to free money?
