We have stud H/L no qualifier already. Bremen is correct, we just need players wanting to play it.

I mean, I understand economics far better than most players who bitch about comps do but 8 hours of play at Harrah's nets me free midweek rooms at any of their properties - even in the summer. 30+ hours at the Borg and I've never even gotten a discount. That's pretty much the reason my gf and I (who stay in the same room yet are not allowed to combine cards) go anywhere else.
I agree, I only played at harrah's for a few hours ($1/2) and have midweek comps. I'm playing at the Borgata way more hours and haven't even received a discount. I love the borgata poker room, but I'm having to play elsewhere in order to get room comps.

Anyone have any idea how long Event #10 in the Borgata Summer Open will take to complete? I plan on playing in that event. I am wondering if I should take one or two days vacation from work to play in it.

Thanks,

For you? Probably 1/2 hour, maybe an hour.

Kidding.

I would estimate probably 12 to 15 hours to the end.

Thanks for the tournament structure. I couldn't find that on your site.

If someone goes all in and they have a stack of reds is that money in the pot? I'm a little confused about a 10/20NL game that reds play in but not greens

Yeah, it can be counterintuitive that reds play in a 10/20NL game. . . but they do. Occasionally you'll see a blue ($10) sneak in. All ins will include all the reds, I think. . . there was some dispute over this last night about whether or not a guy could go all in for his last $75 or only $70. . . I think they pulled in all $75.
Just wanted to amend this to say that the 10/20NL game last night was primarily a black/yellow/blue game (100/20/10). Hopefully it stays that way a bit more consistently. I think the reason reds are always in there is that they play in all the games that the 10/20NL guys normally bounce around in: 5/10NL, 10/20NL, and 10/25NL.

Just out of curiosity...in split pots what do they chop down to? Red or Blue?

Craziness at the Borg tonite. A young black guy gets bumrushed at a 2/5 table by 3 undercover cops who were tipped off that he had a gun (he did) They grab him a take the gun from out of his pants, then haul him to the back of the house in handcuffs. Turns out he was an off-duty Philly cop who forgot to notify Security that he was carrying.

Then a guy sits down at 5/10NL with $1500, turns it into $4500, then sits in the 10/20NL and proceeds to run it up to over $45K, at which point they change the game to 10/25NL (which has no cap) so the regs can chip up. Guy runs it up to over $70k, then donks off ~20k, so they change the game to 100/200NL (minimum BI $20K) when I left at 3:30 am they were playing 3 handed.
