Thanks Stan, you are the best. Is the Caesars BBJ effecting your cash games?

Absolutely! What is funny is that we are getting their 2-4 games and tournament players. They are getting my 2-5 NL players, 5-10 NL players, 10-20, 20-40 and 40-80 LHE players. But the funny thing is that they are all playing 1-2 NL just to try and hit it. There is a reason why we were the last to put the BBJP in. It's no longer poker.

I wonder how many players have lost thousands in the last few weeks trying to get a piece of the BBJP. It changes how people play and clouds their judgement on how much to play and when.

Sad thing is, I would be there playing for it to if I could.

Too bad. The Sat and Sun night games were much different - as they usually are. The Sat night 2/5 was a sight with people making the ~PSB calls you want them to make.

I bought in for the min and had plenty of play with that even every hand being 5/7/10 pre-flop. Took a while to get rolling but got my 3rd buyin up to avgerage $2000. Both nights. I might be playing incorrectly - my PFR is a ridiculously low 2 hands a night and only one of those was AA. (AAKK ds, at that)

And at least a couple of people from around here said hi.

Got my mailer for free parking/Sun-Thurs free rooms today. A little late but still much to Stan and the Borgata

i hate the bbjp, and had lots of respect that borgata held out as long as they did. i would love to petition the ccc to get rid of it but don't have the time, knowledge or the influence to make that happen.

the bbjp pulls more money off the table too, so now in addition to rake or time, and tips(dealer and waitresses) you now have to beat that drop too. Over the course of a year, playing thirty or so hours per week at 10 HE, i probably pay several thousand dollars worth of bad beat tax. maybe its just me, but i dont play the lottery either.

The worst of it is some poker rooms want to make the BBJP harder to hit. It just doesn't make any sense to me.

I'll be down from Tuesday to Friday playing mainly 2-5, hopefully all the nitty grinders will be over at Caesar's trying to hit the BBJ and leave all the rich businessmen at the Borgata.

Yeah - it was a good report. Will be down midweek playing mostly 2-5, so maybe see you there. Weekend was wild, with most of the grinders playing at Caesar's.

Last hand late saturday night - 10 seat's got about 700 left, been blind raising to 50 for five hands in a row, does it again utg - gets 4 callers, button shoves for about 800, 10 seat calls, and seemingly tighter Asian kid overcalls for app. 450. Hands - AKo on the button, j9o for the 10 seat, j10o for the Asian kid. AK fades a flush draw, gutshot straight draw, j, 9 and 10 after the flop to take it down.

Gotta love the borg.

PS - anyone have any experience with missing a room reservation? Was charged 50 on the credit card (as opposed to comp dollars) for missing my first one after several years of staying at the hotel. Front desk is particularly unhelpful - it is a shame that customer service outside of the poker room is light years away from what Stan and his minions provide to their players on a daily basis.

Anyway - live game report for this evening would be great.

the odds of hitting are astronomical, I read somehwhere that it will hit a 10 seat table once in every 260,000 hands, but a 1/4 million is pretty enticing. I'm coming down early tomorrow morning and was contemplating if I should go play cash there or play cash and the 11AM at your place. I would just hate to give my money away to ATC so I guess I am playing the borgata. Are you working tomorrow?
