It's pretty hot and cold for me. I only play $2/5 NL. Usually when I bust out, it's a bad beat, and it's always when the dealers are changing tables so I have a nice audience watching. Last time I was there I had pocket Kings on the button (standard pre-flop raise to $25, didn't limp in trying to slow play) busted by JTo. Flop came JT8, guy with the JT was an aggressive player that I didn't have much respect for, and I couldn't get away from it. Another time there I busted with JJ to 99 (99 flopped quads, that was pretty ugly), another time I had AK in the small blind, pre-flop raise to $30 by some maniac on the button who was holding the mighty 23o, of course I just call the $30 and A33 comes out on the flop. That's the last time I flat with AK pre-flop, it's either fold or re-raise.
I actually like the Showboat better as far as atmosphere goes (too much noise, too much hustle and bustle at Borgata for my taste), but they usually only have one $2/5 NL going and it's the same people, and if you don't get in on that table you can be waiting for hours. I know when I go to Borgata I'll have no problems getting in on a $2/5 NL game. If they had more $2/5 action at Showboat, I'd be going there.
