$10 an hour to play $2-$5 No limit is fin bs. It should be $5 an hour tops.

$14 an hour to play 20-40limit is complete crap too. It's totally outrageous.

For your own sanity I suggest you never visit California.

Borgata doesn't charge you to play blackjack...

Where have you ever played poker (outside of a small stakes home game) for $5/hour?
Foxwoods charges $10/hour for 1/2 NL. And you probably pay even more if you play in a raked 2/5 game, unless you play really tight.

Ignore this guy he is a phsyco path and has been in litterly every single forum on 2+2 complaining about rake and sports betting. I have no idea why he hasn't been perma banned yet.

He's already been warned in the zoo that if he starts another thread about rake being too high they were gonna start infracting him.

I honestly don't know why anyone would want it raised. Its almost never a problem, and the people that do it are usually people that would just sit at 1/2 for $100 instead of ponying up $200 to play 2/5.

i hate these new cards.

i haven't decided HOW MUCH, but i know I hate them.

They are marking easily (we had to change a card at least 3 times this weekend), the red blends in with the black because the color is darker, several people misread the flop, you cant squeeze them.... all in all, very bad news....

good weekend to call out sick stan lolz

How many runners are the Survivor Tourneys getting? How is the trend--building, holding steady, no so much?

I think it sounds like a very interesting concept, and i want to give it a try, but I think I want a pretty good size field.

Played with the new cards this weekend. I thought they were fine. A little easier for the older folks to read....which at 3/6 actually speeds the game up considerably.

A little story: I accidentally forgot to transfer money from my savings account to my checking account, didn't figure this out till I got to the Borgata. I don't have an iPhone or a laptop with me, but needed internet access. The business center was closed and the people at the front desk looked at me like I was crazy for asking...Got sent to cash services, who also looked at me like I was crazy. Finally, I went back to the poker room and asked a shift manager if he could help me out. He quickly commandeered the iPhone of a dealer and I was able to make the transfer (yes i took security measures). So, even when the rest of the Borgata staff fails....The poker room comes through.

I play the room often (3-5 days/week). I find the 2/5 Sunday day games are excellent. For some excitement, the 1/2 Sat. night games with the drunk dudes on bachelor parties are usually excellent if you have patience. It only takes 1 good hit to get a stack. Excellent staff and dealers provide good poker.
