I'm not sure how long but it was easily more than 5 minutes but people are watching sports and nobody calls the clock. The "tanker" says he's almost dome thinking and tanks some more. At some point, the DEALER calls the floor and tells him what's happening. The floor asks who called the clock and the dealer continues to complain that the guy is taking ten minutes and she can't just sit there! The floor seems unsure what to do but eventually one of the players says that he will call the clock!
The "tanker" is very unhappy but makes the call & wins the pot but the argument goes on well after the hand ended. The dealer kept saying that she needs to earn her tips and the "tanker" keeps reminding her that she has no right to call the clock! She claims that she didn't call the clock! He maintains that she "effectively did"!
Amazingly, she was upset that he didn't tip her for the big pot!
It... was weird.
soooooooo wrong of the dealer.
dealers cant call the clock.
that dealer is not in reality if she expected a tip from him after that stunt.
sooooooooooooooooooooo wrong of the floor to be unsure!
he should have said instantly dont call the clock on your own/only players are allowed to call the clock!
edit:
i guess it depends on the casino if a dealer can call the clock by him/herself in a cash game?
