Another great job by mgm with the trash phone system borgata switched to a month or so ago that always has super long waits which would be less of a problem of their online system wasn't also switched to garbage

The place in general has seen better days in terms of the staff and/or lack of staff, it is a shame...This casino was before the pandemic was voted the best casino in the country by some magazine or organization, I forget, not in its current state.

UI gets shut off if you turn down a re-hire offer, with a few exceptions. MANY long time Borg dealers did not return. I guess the time away made them realize they'd rather not spend all day dealing with awful people for mediocre pay.

I contemplated not posting this: There was a bad older reg dude today, that was absolutely crazy and fully crossed the line. And if I was kind of offended, then it was probably really bad. He was also talking tons of ish to players at the table, and was actually boasting about being a great player, which was hilarious because he was a total nit. But then he crossed the line into saying anti Asian things. I hope someone maybe warned him as I got up shortly after

With all of the changes to comps and other things lately, can someone just answer 2 simple questions for me?

How many tier credits are earned per hour for playing 1/3NL?

Do you still earn $1.50/hr in express comps? (which now need to be loaded to your card)

$2/5 has been $2/hour -- 150 tier/hour.
I got the 150/hour when my tier credits from may were finally updated. Haven't been to the back podium to update my comps but have no reason to believe it's not still $2.

This is clearly mismanagement or a huge lack thereof. How many people could possibly be calling an Atlantic City casino on a Monday night at 9:30pm that they have to make people wait for two hours?

There are tons of clean team members walking around the property trying to keep looking busy on a slow monday night - you would think they could train a few people to answer the phone when people call in.

My guess would be that Borgata's treatment of poker players has been so generous for so long that MGM couldn't undo it completely even if they wanted to. If it suddenly wasn't possible for regs to get Gold cards on poker alone? (tumbleweed emoji)

played at taj for the first time and lost.... didn't really like that place. was playing 1/2 nl and the game was very tight passive, didn't get a hand worth playing in 2 hours. Cashed out what was left of my buy in and went to the borgata.
