Highly recommended. I like the way the
Tables are deep in the room. ONly the
Pizza was missing in the high limit room,
Otherwise I would have stayed all afternoon,
I was texted on the phone when my seat
Became available, which gives time for a
Bite downstairs. 29 tables including
One 5-10 nl at 3:15 pm. The rake
Did not change.

Pizza? They haven't had that in at least five years

I hope the rest of the region follows in their foot steps (not for time rake, although that would be great, but 1/3 instead of 1/2), esp Parx, WC, Rivers, and the new Philly Live! that's opening in Feb. The balls in their court.

.

I'm coming in Friday and definitely up for mixed games. If something gets off Thursday I can come out sooner.

The rake has changed. $1/3 is 10 percent up to $5 the $2/5 game is now a raked game and not time. The 10/20 limit is now $6 per half hour used to be $5.

Calling players for games needs to be fixed.
Names can be heard at the shift managers
Podium but not the casino, outside the poker room,

where players
Are forced to wait. I was seated yesterday
Because the floor came out and made a call
For 1-3 players. Also, the poker bar was
Not full service. The cocktail waitresses needed
To walk a mile to make a drink.
The place was full of
Managers, they need to talk to the players
And find out what the kinks are
That need to be smoothed out before
Friday night.

By-product of having the MGM NH poker manager helping out -- he brings the rake structure. The days of $4 rake is over. It was good while it lasted.

yes, in the $1-3 game,
$5 is taken out,
Of a $40 pot, but $1 is for the bbjb,
or so was the rake yesterday.

That is inaccurate, they take 5 on 50 plus $1 promotional dollar for a total of $6

Just be glad it isn't (yet) $5+2. Or even $6+2.

The days of $4 rake was nice.

I was told yesterday the comp rate for
$1-3 was increased, given the additional
Daily donation of blood. What isThe new
Comp rate for $1-3?

How many tables did they end up fielding? Long wait times?

29 tables
My dealer yesterday did not
Get the memo about the
Increased rake.
Meanwhile even 3-6
Is now 5 + 1.
Quick seating.
Don't expect to
Find a seat Friday night
Or Saturday night. Another
Reason I love the glass barriers:
Attempts to poke me in the eye
Were thwarted by the plexiglass

Ubnfortunate they didn't max the 1/3 to $500, however the change should give the game a boost as semi playable option to the 2/5 game which is usually trash during the week IMO. Any word on making the games 9 handed, post virus changes?

For those who have been there, in addition to the information people are already providing, I'm curious about:

1. How have the games been (mostly regs or the normal amount of recreational players)? I'm particularly interested in 5/5PLO and 5/10 NL, but any comments on any games are welcome.

2. How has the 7 handed been going when people are taking dinner (or other long) breaks? For example, in the past there are many occasions where I've seen 9 handed games break when 2 - 3 players leave for dinner so I can only imagine 7 handed.

3. With the masks and plexiglass, are there any issues hearing players' bets/actions?

As someone who is still cautious to play live, although the tables separate players, how is the room - are their crowds up front waiting for games and to sign up? Do they enforce the "no observers" rule to prevent people from getting too close to you? Any insight appreciated. Thanks!

Yes (in the sense that only seated
Poker players are admitted into
The poker room)

Younger guy lost it at one of the tables. Cursing up a storm saying he lost 60k at the casino so far. Claimed he was a millionaire and a produce for Adele . Funny stuff when they send backup guards one of which is a senior citizen woman. Borgata the only place where the guards need guards . Otherwise place seems to be running smooth.
