They do have boxes but they have a long list to get one. Last I checked most people rent them yearly for $100 per year.

No open boxes for visitors I am aware of.

The cameras in the surface parking lot are a waste. While crime is not a big problem at the Borgata most issues happen in the surface lot outside the poker room. I have been going there since they opened the casino to play poker 2 to 3 days a week. I always park in the garage and never had an issue.

i havent been able to look at rooms for booking all day. keep getting system maintenance error. anyone else have this problem?

I have friends at Borgata for their tournament series. They arrived at noon to check in early and play the 5pm flight. It is 11:30pm and they have been told that there is a strong likelihood that nobody will be getting rooms tonight. I was told that is looks like a homeless shelter with hundreds of people waiting for answers.

Computers were down on Thursday.
The front desk tried to operate manually but it was chaos. Many people reported multiple guests being assigned to the same room. I actually got a room and walked in, put my bag down, & went to get a drink & check out the poker room. I returned 10 minutes later only to find that my room key didn't work and that there were people in my room. I knocked but they (understandably) wouldn't open the door. We called security and eventually things got straightened out but it was pretty crazy.

I think things are now back to normal.

i agree with what you say for the most part. most borgata regs are so bad for the game.

the dealers not being able to count the pot, and often having no idea what's in the pot however is infuriating. it's their job and it's 5th grade math. there are a few really good dealers here, but it's embarrassing at this point how bad the borgata dealers overall have gotten.

Its a $4 rake - no bad beat drop (since its not a promo eligible game). As good of a cost (rake) structure as you can find in a casino.

Played yesterday.. mostly all limped pots. Super multiway. Lots of action postflop. 2-2-5 was the norm. Either straddle or 5$ open.

Anyone else seeing big chances to room comps? When I looked a month ago I had all Sun-Thurs and a few Fridays comped, now seeing $89+ on weekdays. Only one trip since then where I played about as much as I usually do on poker/tables (23 EC)

I hadn't looked in a while until this afternoon, but nothing seems amiss. There are a handful of (non-Fri/Sat) October days that aren't available, but otherwise every day is comped.

I haven't played in nearly a month. I play only poker (I play some VP on breaks, but never remember to put my card in, and it's not worth it anyway), a couple times a month. I keep up an ~11-hour average.

In other news, it appears the small BBJ is no more. Lose with TTTT or better or be extra sad.
