I don't think anyone will get 16/16 even if they're guessing pure luck on a lot of the picks. If you guessed kickoff wrong, that's half the field eliminated. I tuink 14-15 will win. You really had to pick Patriots on most of the picks to win.

do you realize that just picking at random 1 entry out of 60k will guess 16/16 on average, and there should be a good deal more entries than that, not even mentioning that some of the choices are way over 50% like Pats receiving opening kickoff or whether there will be INT or more rushing yards for Seattle etc

For the January 50 poker hours promotion, when do the bonus comp dollars hit your account? Do you have to "activate" them somehow?

Usually you have to activate them during the following month by putting your card in a slot machine. The January mailer would have the dates.

Customers may activate Bonus Comp Dollars by inserting My Borgata Card into a slot machine or open a table games rating 2/5/15 - 2/28/15. No play required.

Google cache of the January page, which is gone now

Is there a set number of hours one would have to play on a [week]day to have a room comped? How about the weekend?

Or would I need to simply start playing and putting in volume to start to see offers coming in?

Put the volume in. I play 50 to 70 hours a month. 1/2,2/5 nlhe. 1/2 PLO and i get 2 nights a week every night but Saturday. Also comedy show tix, free mix entry, and a few other odd offers. Its all about the volume.

i think stakes matter also
i play 2-5 through 5/10 plo and 5/10 nl
i get 2 nights a week and get most saturdays

i generally play about 20-25 hours per trip (3 days), once or twice a month. i've had 3-4 month periods where i don't go to the borgata at all but the offers are still there.

i've never gotten comedy tickets, but most weeks have a 25 or 50 dollar match play offer

alright, cool. I plan on playing full time for the most part (150+ hours a month) so I'm hoping to get 4-5 days/week like I used to at the Taj.

You won't get 4-5 days. Occasionally someone can finagle a 3rd room, but most only get 2.

I had a conversation with a floor about it the other day, the way Borgata's system is set up, no one gets more than 3 comp nights/week, even the biggest Titanium holders, at least officially.

Obviously, whales will have enough comp dollars to cover additional days anyway

Daily average before volume. Five 10-hour days will get you more than ten 5-hour days.

You get more extra stuff (I've only rarely been offered anything but rooms and parking), but playing 10-12 hours once a month I get any two nights as far as the calendar goes (early May now).

I play less than once a month. However, when I do play it is for 12 plus hours over 2 days at a 10-20 limit table. I always get 2 free nights (excluding Sat).

Heading down tomorrow. Hoping to see some O/8 or O/E game. I'll arrive around 1:00 PM which usually means about a 3 hour wait to get onto the 10-20 O/8 game

Like others have stated, it is against Borgata policy to issue 3 straight comps rooms in a row, or give you 3 comp rooms a week. There are some weeks when you can get 3, but getting a 4th is impossible, and the 3rd is a rarity, i.e asking your host or if you check out of your room after 2 free nights, call and ask for a comp room, it has worked once when they just gave me another free comp night, but I physically checked out of my room and it was a snow storm, so it doesn't hurt to go to the front desk or call and ask for a room rate as it might come up comped.

Its not a rarity to get 3 nights. You can book 2 on line and the poker hostess can routinely give you the third as long as you have a decent number of hours.I play about 700 hours of 10 lhe a year. Only time I couldn't get the 3rd was the weekend around the 4th of July weekend.

do the cesars properties tier match the borgata black card anymore? I know they used to in the past but it wasn't a consistent thing.

played in their deepstack tourney yesterday the 30k guaranteed. prize pool ended up around 60k.

I understand them bringing in part time dealers to just deal the tourney. clearly dressed in blue polos vs the borgata brown.

but these dealers are plain awful. There's no way they passed dealer school. They couldn't pitch, follow action, count chips correctly, push pots.

It wasn't until after the 2nd break, when I had a regular borgata dealer who actually could run a table.

anyone know why the surface parking is closed? Makes the walk from car to poker room much much longer.

I'm guessing they are having a tough time keeping the surface lot safe. Must be full of ice.

Perhaps someone fell and was injured - or they are trying to prevent that.
