yes and i played in it for nearly the entire first day it was spread. when my friends and i left we broke the table i think at 6 AM or so.

it was absolutely donkalicious

was anyone else on the table when that guy in the white undershirt was just throwing money everywhere? he was awesome for the game. he made the other donks play even donkier. if guy in white undershirt posts here: thank you for prob the most fun night of poker ive played in a really long time. grinding 10/20 was depressing and boring, but that was fun.

I won a pot with a rivered set of queens that was 10 ways preflop, 6 ways to the turn and 4 way to the river in the pink chip game. Also won with A high call down, which was nice.

Posting from my G1, longer report to come.
lol i remember this hand that was so sick

are you asking who i am or who that guy was?

i had a blue striped polo shirt on and was the nit shipping huge pots every 45 mins or so (and also slamming back jack and diet cokes), haha. I was also the guy that had QQ in that 5-way capped preflop pot (which i folded on the flop) that 85suited took down over another baby flush.

he had a plain white tee on, was drinking courvoisier, was (i think) excessively drunk and clearly hated money

although he may have just not cared about the stakes and been gamb00ling up... after a few of us made some thin call downs on him for some monster pots he switched seats and got really angry and quiet... that is until he donked another huge pot. the best part about him was not only was he donating, but a few of the marginal players on the table went from marginal status to preflop donk to try to get into pots with him and started making awful thin calldowns not just on him, but everyone else too.

I know the gentleman sitting to my right posted on 2p2, as he and I discussed the BM forum (btw I saw that massive pot you dragged in 20/40 yesterday with the ace high flush vs AA... very nice). I ran into another 2p2er on 5/10 the day before. I was talking pretty loudly about 2p2 on the pink chip table so I thought any other 2p2ers would pipe up. I even commented to the gentleman to my right that there would be a post on here berating us for breaking the fight club rule and talking about the forums, haha. There was a young guy to my left (early twenties) who I thought might post here. Uber nitty.

seriously, even if you play 20/40, take some time and play the pink chip game. it really is a ton of fun.

it's too bad im moving down to VA in a week for school, or i'd head back to the borgata mid-week to play pink chip, 10/20 and maybe 20/40. This was my first live limit experience, and I really enjoyed it.

I was the guy wearing the NJ hops home brewing T shirt. I sat at about 6 pm on Friday and played till like 1 am dropped about $400 only to get it all back on last hand when I had 3's full of sixes to this Spanish looking guy`on my right.

I will say I was tilting pretty hard at the end there and was lucky to break even.

haha yeah i remember you tried to explain to everyone that you were going to leave anyways and were not hit and running. good playing with you. the game got even more crazier after you left.

the caveman looking guy is the plaid shirt guy you guys are referring too... there was an even bigger fish who sat down later. think caveman except hopped up with aggression.

I played the new pink game about 10 hours on Saturday and another 8 on Sunday. Shortly after I left Sunday the game broke because the remaining nits didn't want to play 6-handed, that was around 830pm. There was only one game today and the pink Omaha never went off.

Stan was very visible in this section observing the game on Saturday, I guess he was off on Sunday. I didn't see him once.

The pink game is great. More action the last two days than 5 years at the 6/12 and 5/10 predecessors. I think there's a real chance that the game takes off. 2+2 definitely kept it going strong this weekend but as news circulates around town, there'll be a more dedicated player base. I played a tournament at Harrahs and told a few people about it, their faces lit up when I told them I had been playing pink and it wasn't at that "dump downtown."

It's really annoying that there's a $1 drop for the bad beat that gives $4 change to the winner every hand. $5 in whites coming out of the rack every hand means that in 10 hours, I'd guess they had a fill every 90 minutes. Wow, by far the worst wart on the game.

Lots of people complained about the $1 drop when the pot reached $20, that was almost every hand. Some references to the $100 qualifer at $10 / $20 and maybe it'd be better at $50. Stan will make his arguments about protecting the $10/$20 and it seems valid enough. I didn't mind paying $5 time though a lot of the $10/$20 rock nits did.

Let those geezer nits play $10/$20, the pink game is the new "action" game in Atlantic City as far as I'm concerned. Bravo, can't wait for the next time around.

The best part about him was that he just never went broke on Friday. Every time he was down to the felt, he won a big pot, and started a come back. As long as you didn't contribute to his upsurge, it was very good for the game. I wasn't so lucky on Saturday, he went broke pretty soon after sitting down.

I agree about the bad beat drop, it would be much better if the game weren't bad beat eligible. All those white chips took away from the pinkness of the game.

Pink Chip hand, Sunday morning 5 AM:

The board is K4982

River: Drunk kid bets, Courvasier raises

Drunk kid considers calling the raise, Courvasier says "here, I'll show you one card" and flips over a queen. Drunk kid makes the call. Courvasier turns over his hand which is queen high. Drunk kid turns over his hand, which is Jack high.

The end.

Question about the pcg. What do most buy in for and do people get reds?

No reds in the pink chip game.

Most buy in for about 2 racks, or at least 1 rack+ some stacks. Which puts about 2000+ chips on the table.

Bremen had it right - lose the reds on the 3-6 tables and the action will pick up there, creating more winners who will take shots at the pcg, which will feed the 10-20 eventually.

Otherwise it is like spreading 1-2 nl and 5-10 nl without 2-5.

Stan,

Okay, here is an idea to really get some good attention to help you grow the PCG player base without hurting the bigger games. Every Friday morning, Angelo Cataldi from 610 WIP Philly broadcasts live right in front of Metropolitan 6am-10am.

Get one or two of your smart & hot dual-rates(e.g Inez & Isobel) to do a 5minute appearance on the show to promote your "new pink chip poker -- the greatest action game in A.C.". Angelo will drool all over her, tell all the listeners how lovely they are and then let them talk all they want about how great and fun the game is. Crowds will follow! That show has huge ratings w/your core demographic. They've had Borgata Babes on the show regularly, so I'm guessing that they'd be happy to do it.
