The holiday promo is likely to drive traffic enough that the drop won't go up to cover it. I've rarely seen the room so packed as on similar days in past years.
12/27 to 1/1
11am to 11pm Mon to Fri, $250 every 20 minutes
11am to 11pm Saturday, $500 every 20 minutes; noon, 3, 6 & 9 it's $1000 every 30
Friendly bet: They drop $2 per hand during the holiday promo (but I hope I'm wrong). I say this for two reasons, mainly the first.
1. They had a similar promo prior to Covid and they dropped $2 that time.
2. With fewer players per table, and fewer players overall, they might not get enough drop at $1 per hand to cover the promo. They need $9K per day for the weekdays and $20K for Saturday ($65K). That will probably take about 30 tables running 12 hours during the promo period. Although them rolling back the current promo might have been in part to increase the reserves for the end of month promo.
