Additionally, MGM's website seems a little buggy.
I have to login repeatedly.

I would have asked today but I didn't see anyone that I thought could give me an answer.
I'll try tomorrow.

Go to the rear podium where the dealers sign in and ask to see a shift manager. They can't transfer money to your card but if you need a comp they should be able to print one out.

I thought comp $ were posting on to player cards and that the poker room mgr said it should take a week.
Did that process stop ?
Comp $ and tier credits haven't been posted to my account in 3 or 4 weeks.
I'm confused, again. lol

No one told me anything about it taking a week. I still don't have my comps from last weekend. He told me if I want a comp he can print one out.

I had a couple random comp drops to my card over the first couple weeks but nothing as of last Thursday 5/13 and my tier points are still the same as they were since before the update. Just imagine how all the average players are feeling right now that don't read this thread and don't know what's going on - once they see they're not getting comped anymore they're probably gonna start playing at Harrah's or Trop.

And those are the players that we don't want leaving so we're going to have to follow them.

Why is management so clueless and so bad at communicating? There should be a huge sign at the desk explaining how comps work now.

After posting that I got annoyed and called. I was told that they're still working on integrating poker comps with the new system and that all play will go in in one huge data dump but there's no timetable for it.

No comps here either after a week, I talked to the back podium person and also a floor last week whole I was there. The back posium person was as confused as I was, and the floor was the one who told me to wait a week for it to show up...

2/2 plo probably runs 4-5 days a week
5/5 barely goes anymore

Regarding the new comp system: I was at Borgata this past weekend and asked about it at the back podium. To clarify, the back podium is not the one in the high limit area, but instead the one that you go to if you want to get in your box (also the one that dealers check in). Anyway, I asked a shift manager who I both respect and who knows me. He acknowledged there is now a delay. But said that if I want, I can go to that podium at the end of my session, give him (or another shift manager who is there) my card, and they can transfer the credits so that I can use them immediately (eg., for food, room charges, etc.).

As an aside, any answer you get at the high limit podium can generally be considered "questionable".

I went to the back/side podium as you described. They were unable to check my comps and then did not offer to do any comp transfer or anything.

Yes the side/back podium where the dealers sign in is where the shift manager usually is but did they actually transfer comps to your card? They originally told me they can also, but when I went back there to do it, they were unable to figure out how to do it and told me sorry there's no option for it, unless something changed as of yesterday. I've played now 2 weeks with no comp dollars.

Played Saturday for the first time since last February. This plexiglass thing is pretty miserable. No chance of hearing people at the other end of your own table, but people at other tables are loud and clear. Seemed pretty low-energy overall. The lack of seat calls over the PA is nice...floors screaming to each other over the radios about seats not so nice.

But hey, new carpet.

Regarding comps: I was told by the poker room manager himself that all comps are stored in Bravo. They were initially going to manually transfer them every week (until the poker room is integrated sometime in July/August) but it was too much work. That is why some of us had some of our comps appear. You need to see a shift manager to have them transferred which I did Friday morning. I hope that helps clear up the confusion

so similiar to mgm-nh.
you need the supervisor to move poker comps to a comp system that casino restaurants can use.
so if you need $12.50/person for the Amphora lounge, you need that much moved over.

but at mgm-nh thats separate from the general comp system. (ie: a secondary comp system)
and i was told at mgm-nh the moved over poker amounts are only good for 24hrs then it's gone.

sounds like at Borgata, poker comps are moved over to the general comp system that lasts 6months

I'll try again in a couple days when I'm back but I know they can print out comps but they weren't able to put money on my card to be used for resort fees, so hopefully that has changed.

They're so transparent about everything though, we have to be like detectives to find out how to get our money these days.

Welcome back I think I played on your table over the weekend, I was the guy who said "yeah they don't have to yell into the radio, they can be heard fine just by talking". A couple floors have a habit of talking loud on the mic but they're some of the better floors so we can't have everything I guess.

Well, if you were at *my* table, there's little chance I heard you. Thanks, though.

I don't know if anyone from Borgata reads these, but I'm going to Vegas in September and staying at an MGM property. I went to AC yesterday and chose to play at Harrah's for the sole reason that there's no point in me playing at Borgata to build up my comps for my Vegas trip so I avoided Borgata out of spite.

This whole thing is ridiculous. They're going to lose players... Strike that, they're going to lose more players, they've already lost me. I sure hope they fix this and do a better job of communication and win me back though.
