Thanks! It is what it is but I’m fine with it . I like playing at Borgata and will continue to play there. I’m not going to complain about the $10-$20 in express comps that’s not immediately transferred into my account.

For those who do play slots/vp/table games. Are you saying any changes in earn rates.
Yesterday I played an hr of craps ($25 pass + 30 6/8. No inside bets) and got far less comps than I usually get.
Also put $2000 though a 7/5 BP machine and got roughly twice the comps and tier credits.

As far as I can tell, there is no positive changes with the switch... Cashout tickets take forever to print out, slot machines are freezing and occasionally crashing. My Vegas/etc offers are exactly the same as before. Maybe it will be more seamless to use comps I earn at Borgata in Vegas/etc?

Poker manager says comps takes about a week to hit your card, found out the hard way when trying to take my buddy to Amphora lounge. The floor does not know anything about needing to print out a voucher to use comps.

I was there the other day and couldn't load my slot dollars on a 9/6 VP machine. I thought it was just a glitch with that machine and I couldn't get on another 9/6 game so I played some stupid slot.

Really only a problem if you tend to want to eat your comps immediately. Is that so common?

I tend to leave mine alone for a nice dinner with friends once a year, so if I want $10 or $20 it's not a problem if the most immediate ones aren't available.

I tend to immediately use them for resort fees/taxes. And food that trip.

That is not new, i couldnt use slot dollars on vp for about 2 years...

I have always used slot dollars on vp, up to last month. If this is true, that's disappointing.

I would guess it's only an issue for the guy who only plays once or twice a year.

Yeah you just end up using the comp dollars from your last visit for the resort fee plus food.
FWIW i'm also back to seeing comps for around 60 days for most Fridays and the odd Saturday (similar to before).

For anyone wondering, my tier credits haven't gone up for 3 weeks (I play 30+ hrs/wk 2/5 or 5/10) but as long as my card gets me free parking, that's really all I care about. I don't go to the lounge, especially since you have to pay for everyone, and even if I'm alone and hungry there's usually a wait list on weekends anyway.

I don't mind a weeks delay getting comp dollars, since I don't play there for comps, but I do play there because they comp me. I live out of town and if I had to pay out of pocket for room and board I prefer staying in Arundel Mills and playing in MDL or MGMNH (cheaper and a better quality of a pokerlife).

However, a lot of players don't even know why they're not getting their money after they play and it will probably hurt borgata in the long run as Trop is opening up and Harrah's has a competitive comp system. I don't see why someone in I.T. can't set it up so they transfer comps to our card after each session like every other room. MGM's technical dept. seems to be behind the times for sure.

Are the games at Borgata that much better than Maryland games? I have posted my opinion of the 5/10 game here before. I personally would rather sleep in my own bed at home. But I don't know where you live, I assumed it was Maryland, but now that I am rereading the post, I don't think you necessarily live in Maryland either.

I live in NNJ, so 2hrs 20min to AC, and exactly an hour more to MD. I don't mind the drive since it goes fast and I've done it so many times.

I think the games at borgata are better than MDL mostly because the player's pool is bigger and the 5/10 is like night and day. In MD, I think the 2/2 and 5/5 5 card plo game hurt the 5/10 there, but I haven't played there since March. But just like down there, the best days for 5/10 are Friday nights and Saturdays.

It's sad to see what has become of Borgata. Being on hold forever just to make a reservation is a sign of an organization with some seriously deep-rooted dysfunction. It might be time to give Parx a third chance.

I played 6 hours on the 14th, no comp dollars yet.

I've been playing at Borgata for the past three weeks and haven't got credit for anything, express comps or tier credits. It's a little annoying.
