Is the waiting list still crazy or not as bad since the other poker rooms opened up

As soon as Parx opened the lists are fine. Even on Saturdays there were times where there was no list

True. I am Platinum and I get 2 max. Borgata is stingy with the free rooms. I get 5 a week at MGM NH and 4 at Harrah's AC. Also Borgata has a policy if u stay more than 5 nights you must check out for one night or stay under someone else's name as a guest.

Yea list is maybe a 20-30 minute wait at the most on prime hours. Not as crazy as it was initially at reopening

You really can’t stay at borgata for more than 5 days? That seems odd

Probably for comped rooms right? I have had my tourney player friends come for entire series and book the room for 2 weeks using the tourney rate.

I think I've seen it said here that it's a state thing...regulations limit how many nights in a row they can comp. Though if Harrah's will do four, that's over what I thought the limit was (three).

That’s an urban legend that won’t die and poker management is happy to make you believe it.

My cousin regularly has comped one week stays at Borgata.

Ah ok, I thought they kicked you out after 5 days based on what the guy was saying

Well in the old days when Borgata was run by Boyd gaming there was a five night max comped stay. Now that MGM is in charge, I see they will let you book up to two weeks comped online depending on your rating. Forgot that policy went away when Boyd sold to MGM. MGM is in no mood to throw business away in these times.

Yea that makes way more sense. Me personally I get two nights comped then they charge 79. I don’t go too often to borgata and when I do I’m mostly playing cards, slots very sparingly

You’re probably talking about this:

FIRST TO HAVE THE HAND WINS THE CASH!
DAILY FROM 10AM - 10PM

https://www.theborgata.com/casino/po...hand-fast-cash
