That's up to you. Uber system in AC is pretty strong. I'd stay Borgata for multiple reasons but the most obvious is it's the only poker room worth playing in. JMO though.

I agree with you, however, and hope that MGM doesn't change Borgata's original offering on comp rooms. It will redistribute poker business around the city in some manner.
Do you know if there is any way to get that 2 nights a week limitation removed? A certain number of hours or stakes played or something, or is it set in stone?

Black card obv but after the two nights you can always get the poker rate which is $99 inclusive of fees on off-peak nights.

Your saying the black card can get more than the 2 nights, or its the poker rate for everyone after two? I was planning a 4 day trip this week trying to figure out where to stay?

I assume you're 3night/4days. Get the two nights they've offered for free and the third night with the poker rate.

I was actually going to do four nights, five days this week. Likely doing two there and 2 up in absecon. I'm wondering if I get a black card (eventually) if I'll ever get more than 2 per week or if I'm capped?

don't think black labels have any issue getting more than 2 nights per week.

2 Nights comped is capped for booking online. Getting the poker host to add rooms or when Stan was the Director had to ability to add additional comped nights in a week

If you have enough play week days can be $59.

Take the expensive (ie Fri/Sat) as comped and pay rate or stay cheaply in area. Its the dead of winter so you will be able to find cheap rooms.

If you have zero play recorded do not expect free rooms

I had a garbage dealer do this a few months ago.i tried being polite at first then started calling out red or black as each card was dealt, called the floor and he got pissed.naturally since this place has went to **** he still works there.

Thanks for the info, its appreciated.

I played last weekend there for the first time, and got the two rooms per week offer. I may look into other options in the northeast for the winter rather than shell out for multiple rooms per week.

I write the poker room manager a letter once a year
With a list of what needs to be improved.
Although the Borgata has many of the best
Dealers, it has a significant number
Who can't deal without exposing cards
And for whom updating the players
With their personal lives takes
Priority over following the action
At the table.
The only solution i have found is
To stop playing with garbage dealers
As the management has no
Working system in place to deal
With garbage dealers.

What do you mean stop playing with garbage dealers? Like getting a table change?

Can't get a table change everytime one of the dealers decides to expose cards though, and calling them out on it might just make it worse..

A table change. A casino change.
(Move to Las Vegas where
Your concerns may be taken
Seriously.)
Take a walk.
Sitting at a poker table 15 hours
Is not healthy.
Calling them out may
Very well make things worse.
Go to the comedy club,
Check out a new restaurant,
Check-in to the hotel.
Get your mind off poker for
Half an hour.
Over 80% of the dealers
Can chat, flirt with the
Customers, and deal poker.
Taking a break every 2 1/2
Hours is ok. There's a lot
To see and do in the BorgatA.

Cool thanks, your right taking a break and walking away from the table for break never hurts.

Please tell me your letter to the Borgata is in your poetic style.
Do you get a response to your letters?

It obviously happens once in a while. It's called human error. People should speak up if they see an exposed card.

What it isn't is a conspiracy/collusion between the dealer and players to rob you of money.

For future reservations, yes. (The total is $20. $5 of that is the tourism/tax we've always paid, and the resort fee is $15.) For current reservations, unclear. I don't think we've seen an effective date. I think my room last Saturday (reserved a couple months ago) was the old $15 total.

$20 has been the resort fees and taxes for a few weeks now, maybe longer.

I've never played in AC and would like to come TH-Sun 1/12-1/16 to play the $560 HORSE and limit/mix games from 20/40-100/200 or 2/5 PLO if those aren't running/I cant get a seat.

I'll be on my own and if there isn't much else to do in the area at that time I'd be willing to put in a decent number of hours. What is my best option for getting the cheapest room? Some of my friends that go there occasionally to play 20/40-80/160 lhe would tell me to "call Maybel and explain your trip she should comp u the rooms" but that was like 18 months ago when I last heard that so I'm not sure if that's still the best current option. thx

This time of year , area hotels
Have very cheap prices,
If you play cash games,
You can get better rates
And there is probably
A discount rate for tournament
Players. High limit cash
Game players have access
To a poker host. The first
Thing she will do is look
At your play, so having played
For many hours in the previous
24-48 hours will help your case.
The higher the stakes,
The more stuffings in
Your holiday stockings.
A paper reported this week
Ivey received $250.000 in comps,
And he was naughty,
Imagine how many comps
You'll get if you are nice...
