Depends on availability. I would call early in the week and see if you can get Friday night comped. Weekend online booking for comped rooms is usually reserved for Black Label cardholders only.

Can someone provide me with an email address from someone from management in the poker room. Had a situation in the poker room this past weekend which I'd like to make them aware of.

Thanks

Best bet would be to call the poker room and ask for Stan (the room manager) and leave a voice mail with him.

Stan hasn't been there in almost. 2 years (unless he came back)... I think Mable runs the poker room now

Send an email to the name of the person at the borgata.com, example: mickeymouse@the...
Call the poker room for the correct spelling of the host (to make a hotel reservation, usually used by mid-limit players and up)
Or the director (to provide quality assurance information)

Boss just advised we are Borgata bound tomorrow (#winning).

I just pulled up the daily tournament schedule. Looks like there's a Thursday morning knockout trny at 11am.

Does anyone know if that will definitely run? And if so, an approximate number of runners?

Thanks very much.

The only Borgata daily that I can recall didn't run was due to Sandy, doubt it will have more than 100 runners. But this is a rebuy with a $25 bounty. Knock out 4 players and you're even for the day.

Appreciate the info Justin.

I will try the 4 player KO for at least a break even trny. Conversely, I hope to avoid being KO'd 4 times and ending -400 for the trny.

LOL!!! If you get knocked out 4 times in 8 levels I would give up on poker. Errrr... I mean you should go play 1-2 or 2-5 at my table....

Strange thing, was just at the borgata last weekend and put in good volume at poker (8 hours) and a token amount of blackjack (20 mins) and they actually removed the fiore suite option from me under book a room. Guess they must have an influx of new business coming in..

With the closure of three casino hotels at the end of August, local
Casino execs are expecting to make money on selling rooms on the weekends,
So room offers for poker players have suffered.

I just hope casinos in AC are realizing that this is not the only place people in the NE can play.

Thank you for the info. I was planning to go for Borgata Open and play in the PartyPoker online tournament series while not playing live, but the more I think about it, the more the plan just seems fraught with disaster all the way around. Online poker in America is nothing but a disaster all the way around, thanks to Preet Bahrara and his rah-rah gang of DOJerks.

+1

The past several months my free weekends have all but dissipated compared to last summer when I had no problems for the 2013 calendar year. I attribute that to the closing of several casinos leaving a higher than normal demand for rooms by those patrons who would typically spend their money on the boardwalk properties. It will definitely bring more business to the Borgata and the Marina district as a result.

I mostly play 1/2 NL - but I was thinking of giving the 10/20 Limit game a try.

How is the game?

Does the game run every day - and how many games may run on a typical weekend.

How much does the typical player usually bring to the table with them on their first buy in?

How big do the pots tend to get - do 2 or 3 players generally see a flop - or is it generally more than that?

Is the rake based on time - or is it taken out of each pot and finally what does the Borgata give you in comps per hour.

Thanks.

Guys I am sorry I am posting this here but I need a manager or someone at Borgata to help me with a critical issue...

I am doing my best right now to be calm..... The worst scenario I could have imagined with playing online poker has happend to me.... I have not received money I have withdrew and nobody appears to be helping me!!!!

I have withdrew over $3100.00 this month and none of it has reached my bank account... If someone please has the contact information of a manager or escalation point please provide it as I feel my requests are falling on deaf ears..

Here is the steps I followed:

1.) I made 3 withdrawals from Borgata Online on 8/10/14. Up until this point any withdrawal I made I received within 2 business days. I waited 5 and called Borgata support. They told me it could take up to 7 business days to receive this so to call back on Wednesday 8/20/14 if I still didn't receive it. Well Wednesday came around and still no deposits in bank account so I called support.

Support told me that on their end the withdrawals processed so I needed to check with my Bank.

2.) I contacted my bank and they had no records at all of this money being deposited from Borgata.. They said I needed to contact Borgata and have them run a trace on these amounts.

3.) I called Borgata back and they said they were going to escalate it and get back to me. I get an email a day later saying I needed to contact Certegy regarding this. I called Certegy and they said there should have been no issues with withdrawing this money and to contact Borgata again.

4.) I contacted Borgata to let them know.... they again said they would escalate this to a higher team and get back to me. Today I get an email saying it processed on their end and I needed to contact my Bank!

On top of this the last 6 withdrawls I made after this still haven't been received after the 7 business days I presume its the same problem. This all amounts to me missing $3100 +

I am beyond livid... I don't know what to do or who to contact. I would like Borgata to put a trace on this... I clearly never received this... I haven't played online since If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. This isn't pocket change we are talking about.

Not that anyone reading that isn't sympathetic, but you typing all that here and posting is the equivalent of yelling at the wall.

Good luck though.

Depends on who's pocket you're talking about, sorry a little levity was needed here, for future reference, you can deposit and withdraw at the Borgata cage. This will solve that issue in the future.

As to the bank issue make sure all the numbers match, ask them what routing and account number they sent to. Only thing I can think of. Good luck man! Hope you find it.

I'll answer as many of these as I can.

The game really depends on who's playing and when you play. Weekdays are gonna be less action than nighttime, etc. I've found the game to be great at times, and tight at others. I wouldn't say it's ever exceptionally tough (this really depends on your LHE skill level)

Guys generally buy for 300-500 maybe a little more. Guys coming in with 1k+ are almost always waiting on a 20/40 seat. 25 BB has been a go to buy in size for me, of course you can add on if necessary.

As for multiway action and pot size, see the first answer.

10/20 is a time game like 2/5 NL, $5 pre half, plus $1 bad beat drop (if they're included in that). Comps are $2/hr.

One thing I'll add, is that as a 1/2 player, 10/20 is gonna be a bigger game, it's really more comparable to a 2/5 NL. Good luck if you play in it!

All the numbers definitely match.. I have have been depositing and withdrawing successfully for months now. It is only now in August that I have this problem. Its convenient to be able to do this online that having to drive to the Borgata each time and is an option they offer.

I know this isn't the forum for this, but I need to escalate this to someone who works in Online Poker at Borgata. Does anyone have a name and contact information? I really appreciate it

everyone pretty much stinks/but there are more swings.

most days, on weekends 2 to 4 tables are must move(when one person leaves the main game, the next person in line in the 2nd game moves to the first so on and so forth) This will be shocking/annoying and you'll be complaining "why?" It's to protect the main game, keep it full and a keep a game going longer.

$500 is a round number, but you never want to be all in in limit. so top off to about 10big bets always.

2 or 3 people to the flop with a raise is accurate, pots will be average $200. Size wise it's more like 2/5 nl than 1/2.

game is time $5/half and 3/if less than 6 players.

Comps are $2/hour and playing higher will get you access to more free rooms if that is something that interest you
