How is the game?
Does the game run every day - and how many games may run on a typical weekend.
How much does the typical player usually bring to the table with them on their first buy in?
How big do the pots tend to get - do 2 or 3 players generally see a flop - or is it generally more than that?
Is the rake based on time - or is it taken out of each pot and finally what does the Borgata give you in comps per hour.
Thanks.
I'll answer as many of these as I can.
The game really depends on who's playing and when you play. Weekdays are gonna be less action than nighttime, etc. I've found the game to be great at times, and tight at others. I wouldn't say it's ever exceptionally tough (this really depends on your LHE skill level)
Guys generally buy for 300-500 maybe a little more. Guys coming in with 1k+ are almost always waiting on a 20/40 seat. 25 BB has been a go to buy in size for me, of course you can add on if necessary.
As for multiway action and pot size, see the first answer.
10/20 is a time game like 2/5 NL, $5 pre half, plus $1 bad beat drop (if they're included in that). Comps are $2/hr.
One thing I'll add, is that as a 1/2 player, 10/20 is gonna be a bigger game, it's really more comparable to a 2/5 NL. Good luck if you play in it!
