The stuff about Borgata saying he attempted suicide is a little more of an issue. Let's see if he can prove that, and that that's what caused his loss of sponsorship.

I think he'll have trouble with the core of his argument simply because the Borgata is not responsible for his future earnings... they haven't denied him those, he can go earn money in Vegas or wherever.

It’s 2021, we all know there are certain things we can’t joke about with certain people in certain places. If you don’t know that, congrats on the expensive lessons you will learn along the way.

He said it to someone he doesn’t know that has no way to tell if he’s serious or not, what did he think the outcome was going to be? His assertion that there is safety glass so that hand waves his statements away as not possible is just idiotic. It can be broken. Maybe not easily, but it can be.

Clearing up some sloppy reporting in the linked article:

- Other media report that the lawsuit states he was on the 30th floor. Not the imaginary 50th floor.

- Borgata hosted an online WPT tournament in Sept 2020. Robbins lives in MA. You had to be physically in NJ to play. The article doesn’t clarify any of this but I’m guessing he travelled to Borgata in order to play from the hotel.

The article claims that the Borgata required the evaluation for him to stay there. He could have said no and left.

I don't know if he has a different opinion. He's claimed the story isn't accurate and he's posted about it in a thread dedicated to it in the NVG forum.
