I got the room offer but am also having the issue mentioned above where the calendar indicates no dates are available. Is this just a glitch?

I got it.

Just took a trip to AC and stayed and played at the Borgata for most of the past week. Just wanted to say that Stan and Tab do such a tremendous job with the poker room. Played a lot of 1-2 PLO and had a great time, heard a lot of 2+2 talk, not sure if it was good or bad, but I doubt any donks got wised up. Speaking of which, played in the 4-8 HOSE for a while, first time I have felt like a significant underdog in a game in a while, not sure if it was b/c I suck at limit poker or b/c there were a lot of higher limit players in the game, but it was fun nonetheless, everyone was really fun and I may have learned a thing or two, besides don't play stud when you suck at it. Also one of the people I came with witnessed the guy pulling out his junk, a story I might not have believed otherwise. Seems like something more likely to happen at the Taj, but a funny story anyway.

Got the offer for the free room - Now the only place I'll play is at the Borgata...come to think of it - room or no room the Borgata is the only place worth playing....but I will play there MORE!!!!! Keep 'em coming Stan

Question. My offer says to "call for special poker rates". Does this mean that they saw I play a lot of poker and MAY be offered it if I call and they check or that it's guaranteed. If I was credited it should I be able to book it online?

So far I have Tue Jul 24th booked. One free room a week Sun-Thur til 31 Aug!!!! SWEET! Love the Borgata! What treat when I saw that in my email last week.

I didn't see it (happily), but a guy at my table on Sunday was there. He said it was the most surprising thing he'd ever seen at a poker table. I just wonder what Robert's Rules has to say about his particular version of "the nuts"....

thanks Stan. I'm looking forward to the 3k event, I couldnt make it out for this one. I hope there is a good turnout and the borgata considers keeping the head up events in the next tournament series.

Hm, so a couple months ago I made the mistake of telling customer service at the Borgata to stop sending me snail mail and only send offers by email. I used to get offers through the website, but thats now gone kaput. I haven't received any emails from the Borgata since. Are offers ONLY available to those that accept snail mail?

Oh, but heres a hand for a buddy who hits the poker room maybe once every two months who hadn't gotten an offer for three years. Yesterday, he found some comped room offers in his MyBorgata page...he says thanks Mr. Stan.

Sorry I didn't post a live game report last night. After getting to work at 6:30am we quickly started getting ready for the first HU tourny in A.C.. Not quite a sell out but a lot better than I had expected. 115 seats sold with 13 byes posted on the board. The reason I say better than expected is because the Commerce ran a $500 HU last month and only had 113 entries. So I feel good about it! I am sure it would have been an easy sell out if the WSOP was not going. I believe the HU will be part of the three majors at the Borgata for some time (Winter Open JAN, Summer Open JUN, Poker Open SEP). I was able to get one live game report up yesterday afternoon. The room was busy all day with plenty of action. Left the room around 11:30pm, very tired, and went up to my room (no jokes please) at the Borgata. Didn't event turn the TV on. I didn't fall asleep. I past out. So tired I didn't even go to my truck and get my change of clothes and toiletries last night before going up. So if you saw me this morning with bed hair and dirty clothes walking through the casino I appologize. I am clean now and in my office getting ready for another glorious day at the Borgata. As I was walking in the room I see we have a $40-$80 LHE game going, looks full so I guess it started late last night and made it through the night. Today we have a Super Satellite at 11am. $1,000 + $80
