It's 1/2, 2/5 or 5/5. 1/2 PLO tends to only run on the weekends. Even then, it's not automatic.

Lately 2-2 plo has gone off on some Thursdays and usually Fridays and Saturdays.

Borgata has been spreading 2-2, 5-5, 10-10, 25-25 plo now. Maybe 1-2 months

Yeah, I've seen 5/5 and higher just not 2/2. Only got to go once in May, so that may explain it.

What were you guys able to accomplish with a $20 trick here? High Floor Water Club Room instead of Borgata room or something like a Fiore suit?

Does anyone think the opening of Encore in Massachusetts will affect the action here? One higher limit player I talked to said he will play in Encore instead of making the trip to Borgata. Foxwoods he said didn't have high enough games for him to go there, even though he lives in Connecticut.

Almost everyone I’ve met is from either NY, NJ or Philly. Feel like we lost the Mass players a long time ago.

no action will be lost except for some pros that will move their base of operations north while the iron is hot

I agree with this...The young pros with no commitments that are currently at the WSOP may try this after the series is over.

Anyone know how strict they are with using a debit card for room
Deposit? Says must be a credit card they won’t take
Debit but I can’t see them turning you away on this, do they take cash deposits?

Debit cards they will hassle you a bit, and put a large hold on your card. And keep that hold on your card especially if you do not need that card to pay for your room as well

I have used a cash deposit when I left my wallet on the bus and it returned back to NY, and back to AC 5 hours later for me to recover.

It was only for one night though since I knew my cards where coming back

They will not give you your deposit back when you check out, they will send you a check about 5 days later.

So an option but a crap one.

This also might have been an exception now I think of since they are able to see all of my prior and future reservations all on the same CC, and allowed me to check in without an ID or my CC at that time, and it was only for one night

I used debit once and they actually charge your card instead of putting a hold. They'll refund it after. ($150 x # of days) You can also have a smaller charge/hold done, and you will only lose the ability to charge things to the room, like food. (I have done this.) It's great when you have sketchy friends/girls staying in your room with you.

Has anyone gotten any special offers this year to re-earn their gold card? Last year Borg ran special promotions to earn fewer points and still retain it.

I think those came around later. There's still almost a quarter of the year left. First mention last year was mid/late August.

Gold and I will never meet (I'm 15 hours from Pearl for next year, and probably won't get past 30k), so I didn't get one.

You can search through the posts of last year, but if my memory serves me right, they sent out the offers in August, if not early September.

Hey mods, I just noticed the FAQ should be updated. You can now run it twice in 2/5 NL.
