I did it Saturday morning before the guy above responded but I recorded in $28 comp dollars for my session so you'd think my offers would've gone done but they improved a little, I think. I notice some nights free I didn't have last week. Could be wrong, though.

Soccer, do you mean swiping at the hotel without using a free night? If you use a comp night, it obviously triggers a gaming day.

Does anyone know if you take a buddy to Amphora if the comp dollars all need to come from your card, if the person you're taking is not gold?

Also just wanted to add that I'm on the NJT bus headed back to AC now and it was 7 minutes early, and left at 10:30AM on the dot. The two last busses had bathrooms, so there's that.

Does anyone know how long the survivor tournaments take to reach the money?

I agree that a lot of the dealers are bad. If they make mistakes, you should ask the dealers to get floor persons.

The main event was held in the poker room.

I think that the payouts are reached around 3:00 to 4:00 AM.

I played in one with 300+ entries that went till 5AM. The structure is flawed because at some point they extend the length of the levels, which compounds the misery.

No update of tier points from poker in over a month. No timetable from either the poker room or mlife desk on when it will happen. Stuck right below the next level.

5/10 almost always Fri-Sun, mostly at night during prime time

10/25 sporadically during tournament series

25/50 - PLO is the only one I see running these days at this stake

Nobody will admit to knowing anything, and I'm moderately convinced they actually don't. We just have to trust that the TCs will turn up eventually, and so far they always have. I'm 24 hours short myself, probably going to make it 36 this weekend.

And I guess it finally surfaced on somebody's to-do list this afternoon. If you've been watching for TCs they're probably there now.

I have Platinum card and once in a blue moon I get upgraded to a suite. Normally I do not care, but I have a guest coming down with me next month. Is there a way to increase my chances for that one weekend?

It's gonna be tough. Weather's getting nice and we've been experiencing more tourism. Maybe if you roll a couple of grand in the pit. For a poker player, I'd say your chances are slim.

Hey All, took a break form poker to get my post-grad degree and land myself a decent job and moved away from south jersey to the tip of north jersey. I maybe average 2 trips to AC per year, mostly for friend's outings, now have some time opening up to play my favorite hobby

Two questions: 1. Is it worth playing online on the Boragata site to realistically rack up comps to use live at the Casino? basically would want to work it towards a hotel room preferably. 2. IF the comps are horrible online or the site itself is really crappy (I heard Borgata Poker online was one of the worst available?) what sites are you guys playing on? Borgata is the only casino i go to if I make it down to AC, would like to play online again as Ive cashed out consistency a winner (last time playing online was in 2014 at $0.50/1 and $1/$2)

When I was playing online more than a year ago, the best way to get rakeback was to convert to Borgata comps and use them for rooms/dining. You get less $$ converting to USD. Not sure if thats still the case though.

I'm playing on the basic PartyPoker (which is a Borgata skin) -- I'm getting about 28% RB just converting the points into cash on the site, so I haven't bothered trying to earn comps instead.

Also, emailing with them and searching here generally suggesting that you aren't earning tier status, you're just earning raw comp dollars, so I think you'd have to play a lot to actually earn a room.

Interesting, any reason you play on the partypoker site? It looks like WSOP and PokerStarsNJ have much more traffic ?

I was planning on playing on the borgata skin if I could realistically earn comps toward something useful on-site live at Borgata... but if it’s very difficult to earn comps for a room or good food, I figured might as well play on the online sites with most traffic?

Just started a few months ago and didn't bother loading up money onto multiple sites. My understanding is the WSOP player pool may be a bit tougher since it's shared with NV.
