I looked over the structures in a few of the summer open tournaments, and I saw that some of the tournaments use the big blind Ante, And some do not.

The two $1 Million GTs (kickoff day 1 and championship) and the freeroll. The Spring blog posts say all of the Spring tournaments did.

I could see the regnits arguing against what they see as a double BB.

I call to book for July, they said no room available at Borgata but there's room at the Water club but when I ask them to use the poker open code miraculously there's room at the Borgata. That's pretty shady.

Eh, not really. They probably have a block of rooms set aside for the poker open, and all of the other rooms are gone.

Any idea on the average # of entrants the Friday night daily gets? (120 with 60 re-entries?) trying to find out if I play this mtt or the 6k at golden nugget for next ac trip. Thanks.

I'm looking for restaurant recommendations during event 1 while I'm in AC. Would like to try something else besides the steak house in the B, also like try a oyster bar.

The "Chart House" & "Vic & Anthony's" both in the Golden Nugget are good, IMO.
They both even have happy hours, not sure of the hours/days though.

If you guys have Pearl or Gold card at Borgata, don't forget to match status at Hard Rock. It's a pretty good deal.

I do have a question, though. How does this "$150 Bonus Free Play" work? I only play poker. How do I release this money? I do not see any terms on how much I need to play to release this money...

I went to Izakaya a few months ago with a couple friends and we were very happy with it. 10pm reservation that we didn't really need and we were in and out in just over an hour. If they'll serve food at the bar (and even if not), it's probably as quick as NOW for a drink and a modest bite. (Maybe quicker, if there's a line at NOW.)

We also went to Wolfgang's several years ago and enjoyed it, though I went again another time (before the front/back distinction ended) and got the turkey burger up front, which was definitely not recommendable.

We haven't been to Angeline, and aren't likely to try Bobby's or Old Homestead (two of us don't eat beef).

You can never go wrong at Dock's Oyster House. Iconic. Atlantic Avenue.
Old School Atlantic City place that wife and I have enjoyed over the years, The Knife and Fork Inn, further down Atlantic Ave.

Docks is walkable from Caesars/Ballys. Knife Fork is Uber/cabworthy

It's $150 slot dollars. Find a video poker machine, play through $150 and cash out

Like the other guy said NOW is very good, and Wolfgang's is great! They have one of the best burgers I have had, I would never eat a turkey burger! 😁

My parent's are going to Borgata for a show next month. Any recommendations for reasonable rooms(cheap+not disgusting) nearby(at least Jitney range)? Borgata's going rate is $399 for the cheapest room.

If you have Gold or higher at Borgata tier match at Hard Rock first to get their Rock Royalty card then walk next door to Ocean and use the Rock Royalty card to tier match to Ocean's Black card.

So it is like a 1x bonus? Once $150 is wagered in bets, I can cash out?

Usual with free slot play is that you should hit cash out after every spin that pays, because the machine will bet real money (the winnings) first. The free "money" won't cash out once it's on the machine.

Once you've played off the whole bonus and have (hopefully) a handful of tickets, you can feed them all back to the machine and cash it right back out so you have one ticket instead of a lot of little ones. The redemption machines will only take five at a time.

This is wrong. The machine plays all free slot play first. You can cash out every 5 or so spins though just so you don't play more than you have to.

So as long as I do 150 one dollar spins, I will be able to cash out whatever remains, correct?

Has no one ever had free slot play before? Just download and spin away, cash out tickets after every winning spin til theres no more free play left. Simple.

Right. I’ve never seen a place where they don’t play down all slot dollars first. Some even keep a running total on the rewards screen of how much freeplay is left. When it runs out it switches to showing comp accumulation.
