On 8/26 I asked at the poker desk, who sent me to the Mlife desk, who sent me back to the poker desk. They gave me the number of someone in poker marketing who they said was their liaison for such things, and she passed me along to someone else who hasn't yet returned my call. This morning, my account showed an increase in Tier Credits that covers my play 8/12 and 8/26. (And now I'm 55 short of a tier increase, which leaves me wondering what happens when I play again 9/23 and that play doesn't hit my account until after 9/30.)
Everyone at Borgata stays at the same tier level until October of 2018, look online.

Yes, my *current* tier is good until 2018, but I'm now 55 TCs away from a higher tier, and those TCs will still expire 9/30/17. (It's only Pearl, but still...)

Oh, I'm not concerned about making it, I'll play enough 9/23 to be well past...55 TCs is half an hour at 1-2NL. Just I won't be back until then, and if they can take up to three weeks to wend their way through the system, what happens if I earn them on 9/23 but they don't manage to actually exist before 9/30. Even with the slight value of Pearl over Sapphire, it'd kinda suck to be that close and not get it because their systems don't talk.

I mean so you can make sure you get them before the end of the month. That way you don't have to sweat it out.

Yes. I do not see the need to try to change my password because my current password is correct. I will probably try to change my password in two or three days, if this is still happening

What do you mean by "help"? The transfer/receipt is good only for the same gambling day as your exit.

Was told that it was good for 24hrs. Guess not. Is it still correct that it is good across other properties in/out till that 6am stamp?

someone mis-informed you.

the parking receipt/transfers have always been for the gambling day. from 6:00am until 5:59am. they are accepted at all casinos (by law... it's supposed to cover the casino parking tax).

if you get a parking receipt at one casino at 5:55am... you have 5 minutes until it expires. if you get it at 6:00am, you have 24 hours.

Thank you. And unlimited transfers per day? Thought I saw borg parking say one (2x in out) per pass. Thanks much.

just one unfortunately. take the receipt from one garage and give to the next as payment and they'll just keep it and not give you a new one.

they also won't give you a transfer if you have your parking comped or paid with comps.

I don't think so, I would call the poker room and ask to speak to Tab, if you can get him, just to make sure, but I think you should be able to. You can pay for food, spa, and the hotel room with comps, why not a tournament? You are not going to earn anything for playing it anyway.

Didn't someone buy a car with comp money in Las Vegas once? Think it was a Bentley, but I think that was just a story, but if true... And no not talking about the Whales who have been given cars to get them to gamble.

you need a COMPLETELY different strategy sheet but it's their best game @ 99.79%.
Is there a specific machine that has the 99.79 odds or is it all 9/6 MS machines? Is there a difference in EV if you choose 4 lines for 1 credit or max bet or a known minimum to actually earn tier credits?

It should be all 9/6 (full pay) MS machines, right? The full pay is what makes the odds?

From the VPfree2 link, it looks like there are only seven MS JoB machines, and five of them are 9/6. (The Super Triple Play ones are the two that aren't.)

Since the change to M-Life does anyone know if Borgata has still been doing the comp thing by the day? Meaning it was better to play 8 hours one day and 0 in the next than to play 4 and 4?

I've been playing a bit at Borgata lately and I have a trip booked next week, looking to maximize my time here instead of asking another hotel for a free room.

There's been no change to the room-comp system that we know of, which means the key is still daily average rather than gross hours.

Is there a minimum requirement to get tier credits on this? I played for 30 minutes once, an hour once, dumped 500 and got nothing.

Found with some googling:

It's the same 75 TCs per comp dollar as poker.

About $200 bet at video poker gets one comp dollar.

And at slots/VP you have to earn 5 comp dollars to get any (but you still get TCs if you earn less, maybe?).

anyone know how high you would need to bet in the racebook to get a drink ticket?

If not Is there anywhere in Atlantic City that does provide alcohol to race bettors?
