They didn't. The guy claimed to be making an April Fools joke.

Well, if you like to go to Primo's, Sac o' Subs, or Ben & Jerry's they effectively cut your comps in half since it's now $2 comp dollars = $1 in actual money at those spots.

I thought the whole "cafeteria" was 2-for-1 comps

Does Borgata ever have a 4/8 LHE game, or does it just go from 3/6 to 5/10? 3/6 is a bit too small to beat the rake, and everyone here seems to think that 5/10 is teh suck.

After 5/10, the next jump from there is all the way to 10/20?

I´m going to NY in may and will take a few days to spend in AC. So I´d like to know how deep do people play at these tables at the Borg. What about skills? Are the higher limits (1/2 > 2/5 > 5/10 >>>) better games, meaning looser? rational? Any info would be fine. This is my first post since I´m from Brazil and can´t speak write much eng.

Tks

anyone looking to take the trip down from nyc this weekend? don't feel like making the 2 hr drive alone. I can drive or you can, and we'll split gas and tolls. I will prolly play 2/5 or 20/40 -- figure on staying about 12 hrs or so? I have comps at HET property if the need to stay over arises. get back to me via PM or post here, will leave tonight by 8pm (hopefully)

Yea pretty sure the whole cafeteria is 2 for 1. Sucks that all the time I spent at the poker room for the 3 days I was there bought me a fatburger, o rings and a drink, but at least it tasted good .

Last time I was there the two ladys in front of me ordered shakes while I was the only other person in line. The cashier then proceded to make the two shakes which took 10+ mins all while I was still waiting to place my order. Took so long to get my food should have gotten habachi.

Fatburger is sloooooowwwww.

To make matters worse, I went there last night, and they said they couldn't make fatburgers because the grill needed to be cleaned.

But the shakes are awesome, if you can stand the wait.

That's true. Save your comps for the better food upstairs.

I always pay by credit card downstairs because I feel like a moron paying $16 in comps for a burger combo.

I always used borg comps at NOW. Better food, and you're practically paying the same price.

NOW did have some amazingly awesome noodles when I went there, not to mention they bring it to you FAST, hardly have time to think.

However I can't see myself eating there all the time, so it's nice to have the cafeteria.

I didn't have any issue with Fatburger taking long, then again I went there at like 11AM when no one was there.

My healthy option is to go to Sea Blue and get their control freak salad. It's pretty big, delicious, and won't put me into a food coma an hour later.

Suggest using comps at buffet during slow times like mid-afternoon or at W. Puck's American Grill (sit at the bar for quicker service) right next door to the poker room. Both are 1:1 comp $.

This is especially true at like 1am when the clubbing drunks file in and FB is the only thing open. I've considered getting like 10 burgers and marking them up and selling them to people in line.

Speaking of comps, do any of forget to swipe out at the poker room to get your comps? I do, all the time! The other day I played 9 hours at 2/5NL and forgot to swipe out again.

It is similar to things you've seen at other restaurants, where they give you a piece of paper with 50 checkboxes for ingredients, and you get to choose any ten. Kinda like Salad Works, except that it doesn't taste like you're eating a polyester shirt.

Well, I'll be playing 40 all night. At the rate I'm losing I'll probably need that loan.
