No kidding!

I watched a kid sit there for like a minute before showing his winning hand, after talking all of this non-sense.

Then the next morning I had to call a dude out for not showing after I tabled what was obviously not a winner. If he was trying to steam me, it worked. I learned what really puts me on on tilt..I guess it hadn't really happened to me before live.

I don't forget but sometimes it can be a pain to find a floor person near the 1/2 tables to swipe me out. If I wait near their desk/kiosk things for more then a few minutes I usually just walk down near the higher limit tables and their tends to be a lot more floor people standing around doing nothing.

*waits for responses to say whats the rush to swipe out your getting comped while not losing money* - I am usually on a tight schedule and try to play poker till the last possible minute before I need to leave AC and return to work/class, when I stay overnight I have no problem waiting to be swiped out

I haven't been to the Borg in a while, but I do recall there is usually a person at the main front desk who can clock you out easily.

There is during the day, but if you play past about 2am or so, you have to go to the back podium or find a floor. Front podium closes around that time.

Maybe it has I haven't been to Tunica since I got back from Afghanistan which was 37 days ago. If it has then I am really screwed with no where to go.

Blacks, yellows, and the small blinds are handled in reds. The game runs best if everyone has about one working stack of yellows, imo.

OK now I am getting confused. You know I was inquiring about the No Limit game right? I didn't think reds even played in that game. Why would I need two red five dollar chips for my small blind if there are yellow ten dollar chips in play?

If someone goes all in and they have a stack of reds is that money in the pot? I'm a little confused about a 10/20NL game that reds play in but not greens

10/20NL
blacks=$100
yellows=$20
reds=$5

Yeah, it can be counterintuitive that reds play in a 10/20NL game. . . but they do. Occasionally you'll see a blue ($10) sneak in. All ins will include all the reds, I think. . . there was some dispute over this last night about whether or not a guy could go all in for his last $75 or only $70. . . I think they pulled in all $75.

By the way, last night that game went iiinnnsssaaaaannnneee for about 2 hours. Multiple $7k - 15k pots around a maniac reg and a new guy who's started sitting in recently.

[QUOTE=cmurl904;9465013 I think it's down to only one table a day now.

Borgata should've kept 6/12 instead IMO.[/QUOTE]

If that. its not always going.

Clearly the solution is a pink chip game.

I will try and give some particulars on the cash giveaway

1. Everyone playing in a live poker game at the times mention (10a 1pm 4pm 7p and 10p) will be handed a drawing ticket by a floor person. Onced filled out (name and Borgata #) the tickets will be picked up by the floor person and the tickets will be dropped into the drawing drum located in the poker room. Only authorized borgata personell will be allowed to access the drum.

2. tickets can not be transferred to others. if a player refuses the drawing ticket for any reason the blank ticket will be handed back to the floor prson.
(this gives everyone a fair chance at winning and does not let a person gain advantage by asking for unwanted tickets)

3. the tickets are NOT discarted after each thursdays drawing. (example if you earn three tickets on May 3rd, those tickets will still be in the drum at the $10,000 drawing on May 28th. this means all tickets earned the first week have a chance to win all four thursdays. There is only one way in which that drawing ticket will not be in the drum on the last day and that reason is the ticket was drawn on any prior thursday.

So start earning your tickets at 10a sunday may 3.

See ya at the Borgata.

Stan
Just a reminder that you can start earning your entries tomorrow morning at 10am for the May $25,000cash giveaway. Please check out theborgata.com for details.

Right now I'm on the ACES train and headed to the Borgata. I'm liking the train, although right now we're at a standstill near Philly; been here about 15 minutes. WTF? So far it's much better than the bus, and the $88 round-trip price seems worth it.

Am now getting a connection on my laptop via free Philly Wireless.

I'll be slumming it up at the Borgata 1/2 NL game until about 1 a.m. I'll be up for PLO if a game gets going. I'm wearing jeans, blue untucked button-down, and glasses with red rims.

Note: they just announced that this is a switching point, whatever that is, which is why we're stopped.
