Tier Credits don't show up immediately. Something about how/when the poker system dumps into the tier system or something (I'm guessing). There doesn't seem to be any consistency to it yet. The fastest I've seen them show up on the website is four days. The longest so far was about three weeks.

Diamond only valid until January 2018 though. Not sure if they'll accept mlife gold.

When they switched to mlife, I went to get status matched. TR didn't know what to do with the mlife gold card, but when I mentioned having the borg black card, they were able to do it right away.

Tropicana was a no-go when I tried, they did suggest coming back and trying again, as it changes from time to time.

I took a weekend trip down to Borgata and notice I wasn't getting any comps from my very limited slot play. Usually get a few pts. Talked to the slot rewards desk and they said that MGM has changed the minimum pts you can receive at 5! instead of just 1. This along with the them using the small punch bowl cups for drinks was a pretty LOL bad changes. GG MGM that's how they make the $ I guess. WP!

I was at Bally's this weekend and they matched mlife gold to Diamond. But they set it to expire on Feb 1 2018 even though the mlife gold is good til Oct 1 2018.

I heard the max buy in at 2/5 NL is now $1000. What do most players buy in for at 2/5 now? Do most of them buy in for the max of $1000? Would it seem out of place to buy in for $500 in this game?

The big must have hit again in the last day or so. It hit four weeks ago (the second time for the big this year, I think) and reset to a bit over $100k. The small hitting would only have taken about $13k out of it (it was around $135k a couple days ago).

How exactly does 2-4-6 LHE work, i.e. are there three blinds before the flop, what is the bet increment on the flop, and what is it on the turn and river? Thanks in advance.

Plays the same as 2/4 limit holdem with the only exception being that the opening bet on the river must be $6 instead of $4. Blinds are still $1 & $2, opening flop bet is $2 and opening turn bet is $4.

And raises on the river would have to be 12, 18, 24 I'd guess? And do you happen to know if there's a cap heads up?

Rather large crowds for the HH today. By 10am lists for 1-2 and 2-4-6 were 100+ deep. Got on a new game at 10:45. When they called the first 50 names on 1-2. 5 new games at once. Games are atrociously bad. Played through the first "power hour" 12-1pm. . $1000 every 15 mins. Room very loud, with screeching ear piercing mumbo jumbo over the loud speakers. Also room is abnormally frigid. Bring a hoodie and thermal underwear.

Quick question,

After 15 hours of 1/2 play over 2 days, I have most sunday-friday night rooms comped.

Since I usually arrive on the later side I'm really not looking to play till 2am or so to get the hours in. I'd much prefer to play a bit when I arrive(not use my card), sleep and put in a longer session(using my card) the next day.

Does this work? Will I have the comps taken away for not playing the night I'm staying there?

What do you think?

BS-

You're better off signing in because you're already marked as there for the day due to your comped room.

I can't believe all these restaurants close at midnight on a Friday. Was looking forward to some oysters when the high hand ended but had to settle for cafeteria pizza.

Can anyone else confirm this? Also some related questions:

-What if you have a discounted room, but not a fully-comped room? Do they still clock you in (in the sense that even if you don't swipe in, they still count it as a 0-hour session)?

-If you use a comped room but don't play any poker at Borgata on that stay (perhaps you're there for a bachelor party or are playing the circuit over at Harrah's), does that sabotage your rating?

Yes you are still counted as there on a discounted room. The discount is tied to your player account, therefore you are there.

It hurts your rating, yes. Your offers are primarily based on your average play, and you have 0 play that day, thus dragging your average down.

N.O.W. (Asian fusion) is open till 4am on Fridays and I do think characterizing Pizata as "cafeteria pizza" is rather harsh . Everyone I've talked to likes it a lot and it's actually very reasonably priced compared to everything else in the casino.
