Thanks for the info everyone. I understand how Florida used to be I am just surprised that they still haven't changed it. It has been almost 4 years. There is no reason to keep the $100 bi anywhere. How long does it have to take to get a regular buy in structure?
Having another game is interesting. I don't know if it really solves the problem. Based on what happens in other rooms, the rec players tend to avoid these "specialty" games. and the 2/5 will just have even fewer chips in play.
It would be nice to see them make creating good poker games a priority over letting a few people that don't know better ruin game-play by buying in for $100, 5 times in a row. Its not like these people will stop playing. They will either play 2/2 or buy in for $200.
Its clear to me that BestBet's #1 priority is keeping the max number of tables running at all times instead of offering quality games which I think is a potential leak in their business plan. Does it maximize profits in the short term? sure, but it makes anyone that pays attention want better alternatives.
