Games are good and you will definately crush. If no 5/10, theres bound to be some 5/5's running with a 1k max and 300 min. Its a different game listing from the 2/5 with 500 max, 100 min. Plays deeper and can be very soft.
Played in the 7pm session last nite of the 50k - got thru with 163k in chips. I may have had the most, not sure. 117 last nite, 15 made it to Sunday I think.
Just moved here from Michigan, and am new to the thread. Browsed through the thread a little bit, a like to play mostly tournaments. I will check out the $200 50k guaranteed for sure.
Are there any other games other than hold em that run consistently? I saw that there is a 7 card stud BBJ on the website. Does stud run regularly? Mainly I'm looking for do they run anything regularly besides Hold em and Omaha?
Original 1st place prize was $24K, so another good turnout for the 50K. Next one is already scheduled for the weekend of June 14th, $340 buy-in for that one. I'll be there!
I just saw on the website that CardPlayer is now sponsoring a tournament series here. The first one starts August 29th and the main event is a $1,500 BI $300K guaranteed. Labor Day weekend and poker, what a combination!
How are the 2/2 tables here? Specifically, how are they during the day on weekdays? I'm in Jacksonville for the summer and I am hoping to play regularly.
How are the 1/2 games here? Are they $200 or $300 max buy in? Pretty soft field?
I am a regular at Daytona and play in the South Fl rooms when I go down to visit family. Jacksonville isnt that far of a drive from me and I am thinking of coming up for a few days to play while sleeping in a motel. Any motel suggestions?
To answer both, there is no 1/2 game, only 2/2. The BI range is $40 to $200 and it's a joke if you have any clue how to play. The 2/5 is $100 to $500 and is action-packed.
Weekdays you'll be playing against a lot of regulars obviously, many of whom are 65 years old nits.
There is a motel about 10 minutes away called Extended Stay America. Go to priceline.com and after you pick Jacksonville, FL look under express deals. The Butler Blvd 2 star is normally $28 a night. Holla!
