From my observations, it is usually the older guys who give others crap for their bad play. Younger guys do it too obviously, I just see more from the former.

On another note, who's playing the 50k next weekend? I'm leaving for Vegas next sunday so I'm gonna have to bust up the final table quickly and catch my flight

It's only been 6 weeks since I've been here and it feels like 6 months. I can't wait for this weekend; I plan on playing tournament, cash, dogs, horses, Scrabble, flipping quarters...

Anyone been playing the 5/5 game? What are people buying in for?

Most buyin for 300-600. More than normal buyin full though which is nice (last session I played the table was actually pretty solid).

Who's playing the tourney this weekend? I think I may.

Most of the group coming from here will be playing in the tournament on Friday evening and into Saturday's flights. I plan on cash Friday evening and tournament Saturday afternoon. Good luck!

Making the drive from NC April 5th for the weekend. Couple questions:

Is it tough to get a 200NL seat Friday night around 9:30?

What time do they stop serving alcohol? Are drinks free?

Its not tough to get a seat, maybe a small wait. Don't know when they stop serving (2am is the law so maybe 1 or 130) and the drinks are not free.

Taking a shot today at noon, possibly again at 7. Any idea how many are in from the first 3 flights?

Played 5/5 for the first time here last weekend during the 50K (which I busted out of very quickly). Loved the game and I don't plan on moving back to the 2/5. Everyone knew when it was their turn and nobody overreacted when they lost/suffered a bad beat. Just a really smooth game with excellent service from the waitresses and the floor managers. Also, a friend of mine who went down with us chopped for 1st in the 50K!!!

Just wanted to let everyone that follows this thread know on Tuesday at Orange Patk at 6:00, they are running a $150 deep stack (same structure as the reg $150 ds) the significance of this is that it has been announced for over a month so a lot of the Bestbet dealers are taking off to play, they did this a few times when St. John's was still open and the turnouts were around 100 runners and then the cash action after was always insane.

unfortunately the berating of bad players is nothing new in our rooms & it's become way worse since the new room opened. the frustrating thing for me is seeing regs who are halfway competent doing this on a regular basis. i know lots of ppl tilt bad & have a hard time controlling it, but it kills our games when the fish snap-racks after getting chewed out.

seinfeld is right about the tourney @ op tomorrow. when they ran this deal @ st. john's the fields were super soft, prolly close to 50% dealers. last time i played 2/5 there during one of these tourneys i made $2500 in 5 hrs.

on a side note, i play every day & still haven't met any 2+2 peeps...

70+ runners. Allowed 1 reentry through break. Solid tourny if you are looking to play. Good cash games running after bust-outs and throughout day.

Ive not 100% decided that jax is the place to go but im about 70% sure that;s where I want to be. Figure annual florida georgia games is there, can watch the ****ty jags play some football, figured it would be a good spot to be. I'm still months away from officially making the move but just started looking around at places I wanna be.
