Not sure about weekdays but they almost always get a 5/5 PLO game going Friday thru Sunday, and they have bigger PLO games during tournament series.

Heading down tomorrow. Can't wait to gamble it up.

What are the differences you've noticed between the players at the 2/2 tables vs. the 2/5 tables?

At Best Bet specifically, the players at the 2/2 tables are pretty below average overall. And most buy in for $40 or so. It's almost unplayable if you have any skills at all.

The players at the 2/5 are a little bit of everything. Typical table mix:

3 to 4 solid players to the point they know when to make moves, slow play, understand position, etc.

3 to 4 players who think they're good enough to play 2/5 who buy in for $100 at a time, lose, and buy in again until they reach their limit.

1 to 3 over-aggressive internet players who never talk, stare at you the whole time, and explain their thought process to whomever is sitting next to them.

Good times! I, by the way, don't fall into any of these categories. I'm exactly 50% pro and 50% social guy.

Got into town last night and ended up playing 2-2 for 5 hours. Game was pretty decent. Some dude decided to shove over my 3 bet of an old guy donk betting with AJ on a board of A 7 4 with two spades and shipped me 135 when I made quads. Got my stack up to 450 and lost two medium sized pots to ****ing short stacks who both decided to 4 bet jam with KQ against my AK and they both hit. One dude made a flush with his KQ and slow rolled me. Or maybe he didn't see the flush through his sunglasses.

Anyone playing in the tourney tonight? I still haven't decided what day I am going to play.

I might have to check out 2-5 tonight. 2-2 is kind of boring.
