I have no clue why they are doing 2-2 (perhaps to make the action quicker and a bit easier for the dealer?) That usually is more suitable in a 2-5 NL Game though where I have seen some casinos make both the SB and the BB 5$. ultimately it played like a 1-2 game because most players are going to base their pre-flop raise on the BB, so I generally saw 10-15$ pre-flop raises. Not the 18, 20-25$ raises you usually see in a 1-3. Ultimately, that 1$ just adds up over time and if you are not running well the first 1-2 hours you definitely notice your stack is notably shorter than if it was a 1-2 game. The max buy in should be $300 and I and a few others passed on that request to the floor.
