I'll rephrase then- I've never been in a tough 2/5 game in Vegas. I've been in games that were tougher than others, but I've never been in a tough one. Perhaps I just run good.

No idea who Brian Hastings is anyway but LOL at a 2-6 spread limit game being tough. Even if this guy is Doyle in his prime there are still going to be 7 or 8 other mouth-breathers there, I mean come on it's O'Shea's.

Another question I have is why is this thread so dead? Bellagio is supposed to be one of the better rooms. Granted, since Aria started it has taken a lot of business, but prior to - there are barely any posts. Is it because mainly tourists play here, or are the regs not 2+2'ers?

Maybe because a lot of people hate the Bellagio.

Thread wasn't started until 2 months ago when someone wanted to bitch about lack of cupholders. Aside from that, the more active poker room threads are ones where a rep from the room posts.

I think the reason the thread is slow is because no one really believes that the room is what it is. The people who run the room believe that they have the premiere room and therefore have no reason to listen or change anything whatsoever.

Makes me think of the phrase, talking to a brick wall.

I've always found bellagio to have the best action, and that is the most important criteria for me in Vegas. I also mostly play limit and they have an abundance of 20-40, 40-80' hold em, stud and Omaha. Their 5-10 nl is also great. It is cramped there but I have never been treated rudely and I like the espresso with sugar stick! Good dealers too.

I went to aria and while it was a very nice place, the action was much nittier in my time there. Might have been isolated, but didn't feel like it. I also like bellagio sports book and casino floor much better. Both are good places though but bellagio is where I like to play in Vegas.

They have 1/2 NL games here? I didn't see any on the board last time I dropped by a few days back.

They got plenty, you must have missed them.

My only real complaint about the Bellagio is the lack of space. Every time you're in a big hand, someone's bumping the back of your chair.

Bellagio Poker

[ ] updating the bravo poker app

[ ] Updating twitter with live action

Are they communicating what is running via another format?

Why would they not want to let people know what is running with the WSOP in town?

If someone on 2 + 2 is in the Bellagio poker room could you please ask the floor why they stopped updating their twitter account

thanks
Jdoe

Long lists and tons of games.

Five or six 2/5 games going tonight, at least three 5/10 games, all of the 40/80 limit games were full, and the upper floor high-stakes room was full. Should be like this for the next 3-4 weeks....

Last I heard MGM was developing it's own app and wasn't planning to be in Bravo Poker Live even in their rooms that use Bravo.

But yeah likely this:

they really should use convention space for extra tables during the series

I just returned from Vegas, had a chance to play a short session on Friday night (after O show). Was really looking forward to the room.

Crowded and cramped. I sat at a 1/2 table with the 200 max bi. Nice enough players and staff. No, no cupholders, but I didn't see any at the other vegas rooms where I played either. I did like the chips

Can't see making a special trip to the room. Would play there if we stayed there.

For me the main problem with the room is arrogance of management.

GL w/ that at Bellagio. You'll have a much better chance, although low as well, at that running as a sole game at Venetian or Aria.

Price of poker going up @BellagioPoker (and @BeauPoker, too!)
Maybe the economy is getting better after all. Starting as early as next week, or whenever the new table placards arrive, inside sources say, Bellagio will scrapping $1-2 NL and replacing it with $1-3. The minimum buy-in will stay at $100 with the max going up accordingly to $300.

They’re making similar moves at my old donking grounds in Mississippi. The Beau Rivage in Biloxi also announced recently that they’re raising the blinds from 1-2 to 1-3. But there’s no cap on the buy-in in Biloxi, so the little nudge there definitely makes the games play bigger.

From Pokerati.com
I was wondering what some of the more regular players at B or LV in general think about the increase from 1/2 -> 1/3. I don't see it making the game a whole lot bigger but maybe it will add more action

I really wish that they would keep it at 1-2 but up the max buy in to 300. I feel this would be better for the game.

I don't understand how a 1-3 game with a 300 max buy in is helping the game at all. It seems like the Bellagio is stuck in a different world of 2006 with their 100bb max, bad attitude dealers (floors have gotten better in my opinion), and super cramped tables.
