They have temporary ones that slide under the rail. I much prefer that over the having a cup holder built into the rail which makes it bigger and takes up more space. (Like the venetian)

I am at Bellagio almost every day and I don't remember ever seeing any of the sliding cup holders there. Most people just put their drinks right on the felt. There are some side rolling tables also, but not enough to go around.

Maybe they got rid of them or I'm simply thinking of a different room.

Maybe he refer to the small plastic tables they added recently?
You play there everyday and we never said hi? Hmmm....

Hmm, I am there infrequently, but can place most of the regs. I will have to do some research when I am next there!

They were definitely these 2 1/2 years ago. Who knows after that. I remember sitting at an open table that was going to be used for a WPT event while waiting for my table during the WSOP and the table was littered with it. Granted, that was awhile back now. Didn't play much at Bellagio this last summer. So we're probably both right. :-)

Anybody know which famous poker players are playing the 1500-3000 mixed game right now? The game has been ongoing as per Bravo for about 2 and 1/2 days now. I assume it's famous players in Bobbys Room. (It's 8:56pm CT on 3-14-16 right now.)

I was there early last week and saw Doyle and Patrick Antonius in there with a handful of other people I either couldn't see well or didn't know who they were.

Looks like the game is going again.

I have only seen the Bellagio poker room from a distance. Are you allowed to go look into Bobbys Room for a second? Or would somebody get tackled for doing that?

What I recommend doing is getting on the list for whatever game is running behind the glass. Once called, make sure your seat is far from the big blind (if in a game with blinds) or tell them you are going to wait before posting or coming in etc.

Then just proceed to talk to people/take pictures until you are forced to leave. Then just leave.

^ I recommend never ever doing that, unless you want people to hate you and possibly be banned from the property. You can generally peek in a bit without getting tackled, it's not a big deal, though it may be tougher when the room is packed like today.

Might have been lightly trolling

Seriously though, the walls are glass. It's not that hard to see who is playing from the tables outside, especially if you are seated at one of the tables in the middle of the room.

Rooms made glass for a reason I doubt you're allowed inside without a pile of cash but people stop by and rail all the time. I doubt they want you tapping on the glass or doing flash photos

Does anybody know any recent details on the poker rate such as if they still offer it, the rate and how it's booked now? I haven't played in several years but will be going out in late July.

The rates change over time, but when I last asked in Jan about May, it was $139 weekday / $189 weekend, both plus $32/night resort fee + tax. Not all days have a poker rate available.

To book it you email or call one of the poker hosts. Call the main poker room number during business hours and ask for one.

When I first got it, you had to commit to 6 hours of play per day I think it was, and it was tracked manually on paper. Now I'm guessing they just track it electronically with bravo, if they bother tracking it at all.

Thanks for the information. I'll call to check it out and report back in a few days. 6 Hours is no problem.

I thought Doyle just had surgery this week .. something on his face was an issue. Could've been out-patient. GL

So they have 8 new temporary tables installed for the overflow crowd during the WSOP. They're in the sportsbook area, but not just outside the poker rail like I though they would be. They're as far away as possible from the regular poker room, in the far corner under the big TVs and odds list.

Saw on Bravo that they had 40+ tables and came here to ask about this... I mean, it's about time some room added temporary tables during the WSOP. What games are in the overflow? Hopefully it's the 4/8 limit game... no offense.
