That likely stems from the terrible treatment that players have received from Bellagio floors for many years. What goes around comes around, Bellagio.

(It's a lot better than having half a dozen glasses on the floor under the tables, which was standard)

What mix of games is featured in the regular 80-160 mixed that goes at the Bellagio? I see it on Bravo but am curious to the games played.

Thanks,

It should be lowball draw heavy with badugi, 2-7 TD, A-5 TD, badeucy, and badacey as regular games. Also, you'll get Archie, PLO (somtimes with two boards), and some superstud games including razzdugi.

Just heard that there was an armed robbery of the poker cage at Bellagio, but he got caught after heading to the valet parking.

Jason Koon put this out on Twitter and it got into a gun control 'thread' in a hurry. Bottom line for a casino ... money can be replaced, people (customers) can't. GL

I tried to find a Vegas community thread or Bellagio but was unsuccessful. Bravo shows $1500-$3000 BBR mix 8 which I'm sure is the big game in Bobby's room. What does BBR stand for?

I presume Bobby Baldwin's Room

I recently had the same question! My best guess was Big Bet Rotation but I really have no idea. Anyone? Anyone?

Hi All,
I'm going to Bellagio soon for a couple days. I Want to play in either the Omaha8 game or the 20/40 Mixed game. Both seem active on Bravo.

Can anyone tell me how the games are? I'm probably gonna sit down with 800 on either table.

I also saw stud up on Bravo too. Does anyone know how often that goes?

30-60 stud runs on Fridays and Saturdays only. It usually starts in the early afternoon. It can break early or run all night depending on how many non-regulars decided to play.

The 20-40 O/8 has been unreliable since the summer. However, when it runs, it's usually a very good game since so many O/8 regulars go to the Orleans for the reliable 8-16 game.

The 20-40 mix is dominated by draw games (badugi, 2-7 TD, badeucey, badacey, Archie) and often has superstud variants (razzdugi, stud/8, stud hi-lo no qualifier). It can be a very loose game.

Cool. I Have the most experience in O8 games so, it'll suck not to be able to play some. I will definitely be there on Friday, So maybe I can hit up the stud games.

As for the 20 40 mix, I've played most of the games listed there. Though, I have NOT played their super stud counterparts so I'll have to read up on those.

Is the 20 40 mix Dealer's choice or is it Set Mix at the start and then rotated order?

Set mix at the start usually. At least in AZ it is, not sure about Bellagio, but I know it's not a dealer's choice. If a live one joins, I am sure they are allowed to negotiate and add and/or remove a game or two. You can always try that when you join if the game has been going.

Whoever starts the game gets to choose the mix at Bellagio.

Are they really not allowed to change the mix later if all players agree to it?

If everyone agrees, the mix can be changed.

At CAZ, it requires 2 to veto a change.

I had never before played in a poker room that didn't do fills, until the Bellagio. It was ridiculous, the dealer was asking players to make change. All she had in the rack were a few reds, a bunch of blacks, and about a grand in cash. I've seen places get so cheap that they fired all the chiprunners, but at least the floor would do fills. Not here. The floor just stand around doing nothing, hoping to get bribed.

Not going back to this dump.

That must have been a fluke, or else they have greatly changed policies recently. In the two years I played there regularly (up through this summer), there were always fills way more often than needed, so much that it annoyed me every time there was a fill.
