I haven't been to the Beau in forever; do they still offer a poker rate?

Might be passing through biloxi this september. Looking to play some 5/T+ NLHE. Is Bravo/Poker Atlas the best place to see game availability in the area? Any general tips on where to go for bigger NLHE games?

Thanks

The Beau is on Bravo to see what tables are running.. There is always deepstack 2/5, and I am sure you could get 5/10 on the weekend. Not sure if anything bigger runs during the week.

Beau, IP, Boomtown and soon Harrahs are all on Bravo. Boomtown is pm all limit so won’t discuss.

Of the other three all are no cap nl rooms so a game could play bigger than what blinds indicate. Normally Beau se3ms to have the biggest game but been times I h@ve seen/heard there was a big game going at IP but I h@ve not played ther3 in over 10 yrs.

Harrahs just opened seems to be low limit a nittier games even though it is no cap. Really they are just looking to get games going. They say they want to beat Beau but I personally doubt it happening

Have seen Beau 2-5 play bigger than many 5-10. Because of this I doubt you will get a 5-10+ running. They will spread it but doubt it will go.

TLDR Beau Rivage is best bet for bigger game but don’t let blinds limit you. The games c@n be bigger th@n you expect. All depends on players at table.

Question for people more familiar with the local scene: I was planning to visit BR the January 13/14 weekend, but I am exclusively cash game player. Do you think they will also have cash games running (maybe even more than usual?), or does the whole venue get overwhelmed with tournament play?

We have played at the Beau during several of the Heaters.
The Cash games will be great.
Cash / Hundreds play at the Beau - I like it.

Smaller, only 12 tables. But more crowded. Really kinda meh to me. Personally not a fan of using cage to sign up for cash games.

There are some quite loud and noisy slot machines. Long walk to food unless you are going to buffet. Only two sport bet kiosk near. Might maybe get some walk by drop in but even though right by slots, you can’t see in and be tempted since room is elevated.

Personally imo overall a step down but still easily best room in Biloxi but I probably rate NOLA a better physical room.

Cash doesn’t play at Beau. Has not for few years since IRS sent its letter to all casinos.
