it's so stupid. basically 50bb eff stacks. min buy is $40 basically 10-50bb eff stack sizes. i told them that the only reason i was there was that matrix is a bit too packed in their NL games. wanted to see if anything had changed with their structures. apparently not.
anybody want to organize a petition to change the structure to something that resembles a normal poker game that allows up to 100bb buyins. garden city and now matrix have done a very good job on their structures. why is bay 101's management so stupid? they can easily implement a $50-$300 buyin for 1/2/3/ just like matrix.
Matrix 123 and 235 structures are 100bb, which in comparison is good but is still terrible in the grand scheme of things. Where else can you not BI 1k for a standard 2/5 game? Where I lived previously the 1/2 was 500max which usually makes for some really good tables if that is the limit that you play.
I don't understand why 5510 is 3k max but 235 is 500max. Well, I guess I do understand that they are protecting the player pool slightly, but changing the max and keeping the min the same isn't going to kill any of the bad players' bankrolls any faster. I guess it could intimidate some into not playing, but I doubt it.
I know if Bay made their 235 1k max that I would play all of my 235 there and then play my 5510 wherever it was running since the casinos are next door to each other now. (I know there is a deepstack game but the wait time is usually ridiculous).
